It seems like Samsung will offer a new color for the i900 Omnia. The 16GB version of the Windows Mobile powerhorse will have a white back panel as an option. The front panel of the Omnia will stay the same and the changes will only apply to the battery cover.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- Samsung Electronics Co Ltd is confident of its Malaysian unit, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd, selling 15,000 units monthly of its newly-launched mobile phone, Samsung Omnia.

Its vice-president, sales and marketing group Asia and Oceania(mobile device division telecommunication network business), Cho Hong-Sik said the target was achievable despite the current economic challenges.

"This is because when we launched the phone in Singapore on June 16,we sold 15,000 units within a month and in such a small market," he told reporters after launching the Samsung Omnia today.

He said with the launch of the Samsung Omnia or the SGH-i900 model,Samsung Malaysia is on track to achieve the target of winning more than 40 percent of the mobile phone market share in three years time from the current 20 percent.

The Samsung Omnia is available in 8GB and 16GB at the retail price of RM2,799 and RM2,999 respectively.

Among its many features is that the Samsung Omnia gives users a mobile extension to the personal computer experience, with access to MS Office documents such as PowerPoint,Excel and Word.

u can slide up from bottom to center of screen (from out frame) u can see shortcut to close all the program.

frustrated with battery performance for this pda. i'm using G4. Only can tahan less 1 day after uninstall SPB.

MP3 6am - 7am 60%
GPS 8am -8.30am 30%
now 10am - almost dead

anyone know how to improved it. i think if upgrade to H3 sure lagi problem... or... should i have extra battery??

i have problem with auto rotation. not function lar... ok after hard reset. but... 3 time already i hard reset. after 2- 3 hours this problem come out again. anyone can help me

cannot lar bro... i think my handphone got a problem la... i have put it to automatic mode, but it still cannot rotate... when it comes to hard reset, suddenly become ok.... and after 2 -3 hour sure this problem come up again. do u have any ideas where can i send this phone to repair....
