im a newbie here. bought my FMG omnia set 2 weeks ago but didnt do anything on my it so far..neither upgrade nor downgrade.

my firmware is G4 .. mapking 2007 and garmin xt works well on my omnia.
u guys are discussing on upgrading firmware to H3 (DIY)..

some of you got the battery problem fixed and some weren't... this scares me ...haha.. will keep reading ur reviews/comments untill i have the confidence to upgrade the firmware..

i just called FMG summit asking them about the H3 firmware... they said that the latest version that they're upgrading for is G4 firmware version only.

haha.. they're still very secrecy about the H3 version arent they.

i want to upgrade my omnia.. but i wonder if my mapking and garmin will be lost or not.. if let's say my mapking and garmin also lost.. i know that i can simply download the mapking/garmin installer and installed it back.. but does it requires any licence or activation code in order to use it??
im just so lazy to go to shop (where i bought my omnia) and ask them to install them back...

when is HI1 firmware will be officially released? i had my omnia upgraded to HH3 and my battery life sucks. even worse compared to my previous firmware (G4)...

one more thing, i notice that when u ON the bluetooth, and when ppl send a file to you, the phone automatically accept the file and didnt prompt any window whether to accept the file or not. i m curious coz it might be dangerous to the phone ..ppl might send virus easily..

is this bluetooth thingy bother u guys???
