love the Omnia...especially after i've installed the spb mobile shell. the interface is jz so cool...and the camera (if u hv time to wait for it to fully focus) produces superb photo quality.

But i noticed tht it cant read chinese char =(

u guys can recommend any must hv software for this baby?

On a few occasion, my phone could not 'wake up' from 'sleep' and I tried o reset the phone by pressing the on button but no response. I had to remove the battery and everything is back to normal. Does anyone here encountered the same thing?

p/s: I've install SPB mobile shell 2.1 also. Cld this be the cause for it?

dude, no need so troublesome...there's a cooler way to do it....jz flick ur finger from the bottom up, and it'll bring up the end task window ....it looks cooler doing it that way

did it happen after ur ActiveSync? Had tht problem last time and found tht the setting in ActiveSync to update time when I sync...by right shld update correct time oso, but dunno wat happen lar...once i've uncheck the "Update Time" option, everything is ok. Hope it helps.

to do video call, u gotta call maxis and ask them to sent you the settings 3G for Samsung i900. Also, u gotta tell them to activate ur phone for video call. Then save the settings (they'll send 2) when maxis send them to you.

And Viola!!! You can do video call.

Remember: You need to be in 3G coverage area to do video call as well as the person you are calling must have activate video call as well.

tis skype for mobile supports WM6....jz downloaded it but hvnt install...will post review after testing it.

i've upgraded to HH3 ysday...the battery life seemed ok...the only thing is i cldnt get the battery indicator to show 100% (only get 90% ) thought the battery LED shows its fully charged (shows green color). was using it for a couple of calls and sms and still show 90%.

I jz loved the updates on HH3...the haptic feedback improvement is superb...and the transition lag during screen rotation is reduced significantly

on top of that, the scrolling feature introduced in the msg reading is cool. The initial interface (HG4 and below) was a lil slacking behind iphone, but now its not only superior in term of features, but the interface is a steal too

Havent try the rest of the features yet. i'll post more findings.

Hope Samsung will continue to improve the features.

i'm on H3 too...and hv the same prob. fully charged til led turns green, but my spb shows only 90%. After soft reset, then it shows 100%.

yes...unlike iphone, there's an sms delivery notification setting in Omnia

got to Messaging> Menu > Tools > Options > tap on (*Messaging)

and you'll see the "Request delivery notifications" options

omg....i tot i'ld jz give a try at HI1 since HH3 battery life sucks...boy, was I so freaking shocked.

fully charged my phone at 12am on Friday nite. Then on Saturday made abt 2hrs+ phone call and took lotsa photos, and til now (Sunday 1pm), I still hv 40% battery. It's Omnilicious

i totally agree...one charge at 12.00am (27/9/06) last me abt 4 hours of calls, tons of pictures (I went to malacca) and browsing media and still last me til jz now with 10%. Charging it now coz worry it die on me while working tomoro.
