think all are compatible dude...the bluetooth protocols remain the same for all manufacturers and all phones so they are cross compatible. If u want stereo look for the ones that have a2dp. and if u want to control your tracks from your handsfree find a bluetooth that supports avrcp.

Added on August 29, 2008, 6:14 pmregarding the pouch and screen protector...i guess was given out during the packages that were sold in the samsung roadshow....cos in the boxes of the standard sets dont contain the pouch.

got mine with leather pouch, screen protector, digital photo frame + 2GB Sandisk SD....which i plan to upgrade soon to 16gb as i have almost utilized all the space in my 16GB omina memory

its good enough if the GPS can last you more than 3 hours without charge.. my previous dopod and p535 only fares around max of 2 hours GPS without charge...

To view ur pics like iPod Touch, go to

Programs -> Media Album -> Open any one of ur pics -> Then u'll see one yellow scroll on the right of the screen -> scroll a LITTLE BIT until it goes full screen (Dun oversize it) -> Start gliding your fingers thru to see the next pic..

Sounded like a long journey.. However, when u're used to it, u'll have fun showing it off to your frenz..

can u all please giv me some suggestion..

they are 2 quite different phones actually.....depending on what u prefer.

The main difference is OMNIA is windows mobile whereas the N96 is Symbian based. therefore software support would be more abundant for the omnia as opposed to the n96.

The second would be an absence of a touch screen on the N96 which would be a big minus point to some....but to others may not be such a big deal.

The N96 has however DVB-H, if u actually do use that, and the camera has better optics - carl zeiss. The flash i presume is also a Xenon? im not to sure about that but if it is its probably better. the rest of the features are pretty much the same on both phones

Oh yeah, the omnia has a 624Mhz processor but the N96 has a dual arm 264Mhz CPU. Dont know how to compare these two in terms of performance.....but there you have it. The price of the N96 is also presumed to be a lot higher than 3k.

yesterday night saw the latest price of the omnia's at mobile city samsung authorised they are selling 8gb version for rm2999 and 16gb for rm3299 at jusco kepong i was what is that?is pricey!

Starting camera needs 5MB of free storage space from the phone memory, instead of the 8gb/16gb storage. Don't put files inside the My Documents as it will eat up the 90mb internal phone memory.

That's expensive.

Hi all...other than omnia pouch itself. Is there any other pouch which compatible with omnia. preferably the one that able to clip / strap to your belt.

Been searching the pouch..went to digital mall. Omnia pouch really expensive there. one shop quoted rm80. Another rm150. they said that if you bought it from samsung itself, it'll be rm300++.

is it true? or they are very good in lying and seaching 'duit haram'.

from my point of view,
Windows mobile offer a lot of software that u can choose and it's very easy to get.
Whatever sw across ur mind, u can find from the net..
but if u talk about game on Omnia, i found a lot of difficulties to find a suitable game
due to Omnia odd resolution and cannot use 4-way navigation pad.

If you want one that can clip on your belt strap, maybe can consider PDair Omnia pouch.. I saw it on eBay.. Looks quite good though.. Forgotten bout the pricing..

found it in eBay. There are 2 type, one is horizontal and another is vertical.
The horizontal one is available only from US (RM27.10) and Hong Kong (RM 61.02). The US one is cheaper might be coz its not PDair brand.
For the vertical only available from Hong Kong (RM61.02 also).

well to bad its so far away. So, need to find any other suitable pouch for omnia.
