I've tried it b4. Loading 700mb avi file and play it using Touchplayer or Coreplayer.
No issue like lagging and screen refresh.
Its perfectly for watching full widescreen movie with Omnia.

any chance to play with subtitles? .srt or .sub file? haha sorry if i'm too much

For those who upgraded to G4, the new firmware have any software limited for singapore only or GPS map problem to be used in Malaysia?

There is a protective cover for the charging port, is it removable ? Cause it seems annoying when do charging. Thanks

yes u can. i m use TCPMP 0.8 to watch movie with subtitle. Just convert .srt/.sub to .smi and put it same directory as the movie. Google for more info....

Me too. Its quite troublesome you need to open the cover everytime u want to charge or connect to pc..
I'm afraid to pull out.. Maybe cannot..
But i believe one day it will broken up from mine..hehe

Anybody did successfully upgraded the new firmware using VISTA?
What's different compare to previous one bcoz most of the features (G4) already in G3.

Heard that there will be a new firmware coming for Omnia..H1

done upgrade from G3 to G4. i feel abit faster. only took me abt 10mins. looking forward for the better and better firmware

i tried garmin xt ..so far so good but tehcnician in samsung say garmin xt will cause phone to become not stable donno true or not

they prefer mapking..but i hate mapking interface

mapking they make money... garmin they dont make money becoz u install already... thats y they say garmin cause instability.

Just bought my Omnia (16GB), which come with MapKing + Malsing Map, to use MalKing, check if u have GPS Gateway installed, u needs to activate the GPS Gateway first, before using MapKing.

MapKing is working fine with my Omnia, however, I don't like the user interface, and searching for some location is very troublesome. Thinking of switching to Garmin XT, wonder if the user interface better, and how easy for Garmin XT to search for location, thus for users with Garmin XT with Malsing Map, could u let me know if u able to locate the following location
a) Jln Desa Utama, Tmn Desa
b) Anjung Hijau Apartment, Bukit Jalil

Also, appreciate if u could tell me where to get the Garmin XT in KL..
