Wow! if the price is RM2099, I would buy it straigth away on its launch date in Malaysia.
Just now i.ve just realized that samsung has their manufacturing factory here in Malaysia (in Pahang) and not in other nearby countries. So, I bet that their products like samsung omnia would be cheaper than in Singapore. (Just a speculation though...well it'll be great if its true right?.. hehe)

the phone is not made in malaysia, and no that's not a crack, but a deep scratch. somebody damaged the screen before me >.< but its still working fine.

get omnia 1st....if not happy then sell it & get diamond...since everyone is looking for omnia here...im sure u can sell it off very easily...

anyway,im more worried on the screen resolution....most games/apps are on 240 x 320 size...which is not compatible with this fon....

8gb is more than enuf for normal and heavy user....

When I think about it, I still need 16GB and if possible add another 16GB SD card (is this supported?).

Reason is I am planning to travel overseas in future and I own an SLR. Usually a RAW picture format is around 8 to 10MB, so I need as much storage space as possible in the PDA.

I think what you need is just more memory card for your DSLR.

So many people waiting for Omnia in Malaysia / Penang. Let's hope we can see it during PC fair 8-10 Aug, at PISA.

I used to think that with GPS on a PDA phone traveling to places like Hong Kong and Taiwan should be an ease. So thinking of ways to maximize the PDA phone usage for overseas traveling, eg. store pictures from DSLR, Google Maps, etc...

wahhahahah... excuse to get omnia...

but Omnia actually might help u entertaining both u and ur fren with the photos... while u still need to get a umpc or eeepc for data transfer from DSLR to Omnia..

for me.. i wan to know how its camera capability...
and GPS is a need for me...
