QUOTE(michaelconan @ Jul 26 2008, 10:28 AM) QUOTE(peeky @ Jul 26 2008, 11:20 AM) theres one in PJ here near sec14 ... if u know wheres TOC its just near by ... or to be specific its opposite vitagen factory I heard from Singapore Omnia user community that ROM update for PDA phone can only be done with Samsung service centres. Anynody can confirmed this? Besides who knows any efficient Samsung service centre in Penang?QUOTE(iRonTech @ Jul 26 2008, 12:10 PM) I would think HTC Touch Pro and SE X1 are in the same class. Omnia supposed to be same league with Diamond, but with majority of specifications beat Diamond. Just like Blackberry Bold with Nokia E71 are in the same class. |

QUOTE(Seaedge @ Jul 30 2008, 04:41 PM) nah.. what he really needs is an UMPC like Fujitsu U2010 with HSDPA support. omnia and DSLR oso tak kena mengena... example.. how u transfer the pics from DLSR to Omnia? I used to think that with GPS on a PDA phone traveling to places like Hong Kong and Taiwan should be an ease. So thinking of ways to maximize the PDA phone usage for overseas traveling, eg. store pictures from DSLR, Google Maps, etc... |

Anyone of you still getting it after knowing the price?
For me 16GB for 2999 is a too steep. If really needs to fork out 3K, I might as well put 200 more to get a Touch Pro. This post has been edited by TYK: Aug 6 2008, 01:34 AM |

QUOTE(peeky @ Aug 6 2008, 10:48 AM) malaysia basically everythings more expensive then the world ... so no argue there ... i already ask my fren to get my omnia from sg ... sgd980 for 16gig ( i think i got it expensive then you guys at 960 ahahaha ... ) Peeky, when you got the phone from Singapore, I have few questions:1. Most importantly, does it have international warranty? 2. Are Singapore units supported by local Samsung dealers, like ROM updates and stuff? 3. Finally, when you take the phone out, how is the Singapore Government Service Tax works? I am not sure about this. |
