ringtone should be no problem but the sms tone i still cant find my mp3 files... i change my sms tone under sound & notification setting there.

Anyone can PM me step by step how to "install" latest garmin to my omnia?

i enconuter some problem about the background wallpaper...
when i directly select my pic from file manager and set as today background it will let me crop out which part i need to be show on my vertical screen but when i turn my screen to horizontal the pic look " repeated" is there any setting to solve it? bc when i chose in file manage i able to use to select the part i whould like show.. if change in theme setting it will auto set the position of your pic ...

and anyone know wht is that Settings>Today>appearance
wht is the uasage of it?

For background pics, use your image editor and resize your picture to 400 X 374, then you will get "normal" looking pics whether your Omnia is vertical or horizontal.

Settings / Today / Appearance is for choosing a theme when you're using anything other than the Widget Today screen. Also this is where you browse and select the background picture for your main screen. This is also the only place where the selected background picture will turn upright or sideways properly. Choosing the same picture from anywhere else (e.g. File Manager) will cause the picture to not turn out properly.

hehehe......never in my life have i been so excited about a phone....let alone a samsung phone.....which i admit....i had never thought much of previously.....always thought samsung was a copycat phone...who only copied other companies design and features...

but here i am today.....recommending everyone to buy one....lolz

Has anyone found a way to search for individual songs in Touch Player? It may just be me, but my Omnia doesn't provide an intuitive way to look up for a particular song. It lists them all in one long list.

hehe....never actually tried to load my songs....usually just play movies...lolz

but there are other media players that u can install to suit your needs.....hence the flexibility of windows mobile

It should be work fine if I use USB car charger together with the USB Cable which bundle in the package to charge my omnia in the car rite?

Alrite... first week into the OMNIA experiece so far no regrets ^.^ love the phone... and the battery life is amazing haha ... end of 3rd day... 2 bar left

2 bugs so far I encounter.
1 ) Memory issues - some times u cant start up ur camera.. gives u the insufficient memory error (solution - soft reset) Hopefully in thier new ROM they fixed this memory leak issue.
2 ) USB Mode - I dunno if anyone is facing this issue.... I have a 8GB OMNIA and a 8GB MicroSD in the phone... but in USB mode I can only see the MicroSD storage and cant access my phone storage.. anyone else facing this issue? Got a solution??

another issue i face today is .. when some one call , my tone was a increasing tone... from low then suddenly jump to loud tone.. but my setting was set as Ring type...

I know. I tried this method but it requires cd key and also I couldn't download the 4th file from Malsing...Need step by step help.

Ohh.. It's like that for all Samsung phones.. I've used 3 Samsung phones so far and found out that it's all the same.. Maybe that's to avoid u from getting shock.. Who knows, maybe Samsung think their design is so nice that people hang it on their ear as earring.. Kekeke!!

ZZzz... should do complain on this.... their think is the main concern of the user not all only "their think" lol
