My view on SO4: was a nice 360 game. Like any other Tri-Ace's game, the gameplay simply is something an active real time rpg would love. Blindside was a nice feature, unfortunately it quicklylose it's role late in the game (especially when BEAT:B become more and more important), where most will simply grind the monsters/bosses with the uber strong Chain Combos.
Story-wise is okay for me, but in term of characters, many of them failed. Hard. Sarah, Lyme, Bacchus, Faize, Meracle, even Edge too (note these are just my view). Reimi (and probably Arumat) is the only balanced, well developed character in the game in term of combat abilities and personalities.

man I hate Wondering Dungeon. No save point means I need to run for more than 5 hours go through the whole floors all over again to reach Ethereal Queen, it's so tedious especially whenever the floor deals with geostone. Currently I've only explored till floor 12. Will continue again once I think I have more than 7 hours to spare on this tongue.gif

ps: Armaros Manifest remains as crazy to beat as ever, even in WD ohmy.gif

For WD... good luck man, if you want the best stuffs, you need to go in at least 3 times... first 2 times just to buy emblems, third time finish off all 3 ethereal queens, and 3 times is provided you beat all 3 modes of eq without being wiped out...

Yeah, need to do some more synth after this. Currently I do have some neat stuff in my disposal (Moonstone Blade, Artifact Bow, Valiant Mail etc with synth ATK/DEF/HP%+ and stacking Ashlay's), although not as good as Tri-Emblem synthed equipment. Already got Philosopher's stone, but have yet to get Dragon God Scale. So I need to run through WD one more, then synth that equipment and then do the final run to face EQ biggrin.gif

I think I might not going to focus much on Tri-Emblems, since I'm not that filthy rich to buy 20 of them (despite finishing all of Santa's order), and not in the mood to grind Metal Scumbag. Do you think synthesizing Ashlay Jewel instead of Tri-Emblem into my next ultimate equipments would be sufficient to face EQ?

edit:
@rid: ya that's me tongue.gif

I'm not sure if you know the ultimate fol farming... but it only takes like 10min to farm max fol... so why wouldn't you wanna do that?

nah, it's just that I don't really feel like doing it right now (on top of that I haven't even synthesised any Fol%+ gear) and want to finish EQ asap. Well, I only aim for the EQ achievement after all, hence the 6-winged EQ can wait later once I truly have load of free time to do the fol trick.

..

Got through till floor 17 last night, damn now I know Armaros is THAT easy biggrin.gif He really is weak to Blindside's Crit. I wish the remove level cap Bonus would allow us to go farther than level 255, reaching max level is far too easy in WD. Got some Dragon God Scales (and a couple of Tri-Emblems) too, can't wait for EQ : D
