MGS4 In Japan: 476K Sold (+77K PS3s)

Some Enterbrain sales data for Metal Gear Solid 4's been published! How'd it do? Just swimmingly. Seems that during its first four days on release in Japan, the game has sold 476,334 copies spread across the various editions, including those bundled with hardware. And speaking of hardware, looks like the game's also given the PS3 a big (if temporary) sales boost, driving sales of the console to 77,208 for the week (the PS3 can normally be relied to move anywhere from 10-12,000 a week in Japan).

very surprised that JPN fans have come out strongly to buy this game considering ps3 software in JPN has been very "soft" so far

maybe playing as old snake can be inspiring for many "salaryman" tongue.gif

i rmb in an interview, kojima says he chose an old hero cos Japan is a greying society, so he want to incorporate such a perspective into the game. this game story really have alot of old ppl as vital characters laugh.gif

is liquid really tat tough? u mean the scene where RAY vs REX or CQC combat ?

i think those outfits and all will be in 'EXTRAS' section for download huh..

all the bosses tis episode are fairly easy, but i tink The Rage would be the trickiest...

I started playing on Big Boss Hard mode.. finished the game exactly 17 hours with the cinematics and all..

Raging Raven the trickiest ? Go to the top floor and prep up your RPG.. In fact, I found out that most of the bosses is quite easy.. although there was one time when I fought Screaming Mantis and was wondering how to defeat him.. but after a few minutes wondering I found out how to overcome it.. laugh.gif

I'll probably go for The Boss Extreme some other time.. rclxm9.gif

@Mgsrulz

I like the final battle.. It wasn't hard at all.. just imagine Fight Night Round 3 and all is good.. blush.gif

Extra Batteries

While still in Act 1, go back to the Start menu, select Mission Briefing and load your saved game When you take control of the Mk.II during the briefing you can pick up an extra battery behind the helicopter inside the Nomad. Once the briefing is over, save the game when it asks you to. Go back to the Start menu, then select Mission Briefing and load the game that you recently saved. You can now pick up the battery again. Do this repeatedly to get more batteries.

Another Extra Battery,

During inter mission, in Nomad, use MK2 or Mk3 go up to upstairs, pick it up

Lol watch the BD guys, its reaaally goood
apparently during testing stage, there are people who don't know they can use octocamo so they still hide in drumcans and boxes.
Thats when kojima thinks they had to emphasize more on the octocamo, thts why it was introduced so early in the game

PS3 power supply is universal just like PC PSU. You don't need stepdown transformer unlike that other console whistling.gif
