Hi

i have a psp. and i also have a nephew.
psp+nephew=disaster!
long story short, my psp screen cracked. so when i opened the psp, it shows nothing. actually its only visible (the crack) when i turned on the psp.
so my question is....
is there a way to repair it? i saw it over the internet, theres a replacement screen that can be purchased and installed manually.
but i dont know if its available in malaysia.

bro, you means the faceplate or inner LCD screen??
if is the faceplate got crack...u can get replacement from endless....
he got sell a few colors of the faceplate....

i assume faceplate is the external one? then no. mine is the internal. thats why physically it looks scratchless. it only looks awful when i turn on the psp.

ooO...have you try to ask bernard of Gamers Solution....he might have the parts....
btw...the repair part of LCD is quite expensive...

i think the part is expensive. though the repairing manuals are all over the internet. but most of em are for phat version

you are welcome even there are plenty of tut...but i suggest to let ppl fix it for you...
is not easy if you nvr dissamble a psp before....

hmm true...just hoping theres somebody out there (in malaysia) are selling the internal lcd screen. will upload pic later.

i can here all the intro music when i turn it on, and the clicking noise when i browse. meaning theres no problem with the system. i wish i could find someone who can provide me with the LCD screen and assemble it on the spot.

psp lcd is the awesome-es screen dude! aiseh, maybe need to get spares to fix it ady now.. sorry dude

confirm the inner part of the LCD is also spoiled...i can sell you the LCD screen but i cannot fix for u le,caz i'm in Sarawak..mayb u try ask some shops see how much they charge for the changing service...caz i noe some shops charge up to RM300(including the LCD screen) for repair..

if youre at sarawak, who's at damansara?
