not idle, it is 100% load, if it is fully loaded, is it ok?
when idle, cpu is 41c, core 0 51c, core 1 51c. have i done enough stability test with orthos priority 10 to stress the cpu? |

Use realtemp instead. I think OCCT is based on Tjmax 105C.

I run small fft test with priority 10 for 18 minutes. how long that i need to run the orthos? i heard that orthos priority 10 is hard to pass , is it correct? i also can play mass effect without crashing This post has been edited by jameslys: Jun 10 2008, 02:28 PM |

Just try to tress out your CPU as much as u can like running multiple prime95 test
If ur CPU can handle those tests, meaning it is stable and can handle other application (gaming, etc) |

Don't run too long. Your motherboard will burnt. That's bring you "regret". I will suggest orthos 4 hours and you didn't notice any thing wrong. Then....
Use it normally and observe any things wrong or not. Unfortunately, you are using Vista. You are very difficult to make distinguish that is hardware problem or software problem. I would suggest using Windows 2008 server or Windows XP. Once you have been using it for few weeks (normal routine + gaming) and notice nothing happens (application crash). Than it is consider stable. The reason that I am suggesting so is don't stress your motherboard kaw kaw until it burnt. Is my reply ok to you? |
