I've successfully connect to my hidden wifi at home using WEP with no prob. BTW I use static IP.

have you try logging into the wifi with the AP unhidden?

make sure the name and WEP you entered is exactly the same. they are case sensitive. if you get it right, it should appear under the network list with a tick next to the name of the AP you are connected.

For further settings, tap on the blue arrow on the right. That;s where you can set the IP address and type.

are you sure that signal you saw is not locked? some signal showing like its free and available but it actually not... try to connect em with other device....

For a normal free wifi area like coffee bean, sbucks, etc...etc... no prob at all....

memang d wifi at my house tu overprotected.... i refreshed whole router system and make it normal hidden and now wolla, can join thru "others".... Tried it at my office and confirm that there is no problem connecting to a hidden wifi... the only thing is, manually insert network name and password (very2 case sensitive).... Thanks guys...

Added on June 25, 2008, 3:04 pmAn again, WEP (ok) not WPA.... but no harm to try both if not sure...
