Ok... I'm a little confused with all the posts. I have read schizophrenic's first post on the pathways to become a lawyer in Malaysia. But just to be sure...
So, if I take a law degree in a local private uni and then transfer to uk, I will have to take this Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). Before the BPTC commences, I have to join one of the Inns. To be called to the English Bar, I have to complete the course and this "Qualifying Sessions" with the Inn that I had joined. Then I become a Barrister-at-law of England? Next, I need to undergo 9 months of pupillage in Malaysia in order to be called to the Bar, right?
A bit confused here... Can someone help me explain?
