QUOTE(yuvanraj @ Sep 13 2011, 12:36 PM) A Business Law major is not necessarily an advantage in terms of future prospect. If you don't go to law school, you could join a law firm as a paralegal, but this is the non-legal grunt work that the lawyers don't want to do.Major in something else. How about Finance or Marketing? Then if you don't go to law school, you will have something more solid to start a working career. But back to the question, yes it is recognized but you wont go far with business law. Thank you for you attention Im doing commercial law as my core unit now and found it interesting , thats why planned to major in it.. hmm, i would take serious consideration about my major.. thank you in advance

QUOTE(ucasappraisal @ Sep 16 2011, 03:50 PM) This may be useful. MMU students will have to undergo an intensive course on conveyancing practice and legal opinion writing and drafting before they may be called. Added on September 16, 2011, 3:53 pmDo you get a law degree from it? If you are planning to have a career as a lawyer, be sure to check with the Bar Council as to the recognition given to your degree. Gluck. No it's a business degree..
