nt sure bout tat.. but 1 things for sure, it's way higher than whn u got ur clp n start chambering..

in west msia i think.. in east msia, firms oni willing to pay 1.2-1.8k for chamberin students..

i was under the impression that certain places like labuan or sandakan pays well
mainly cause they lack pupils

i'm not very sure bout those places, but in kuching and sibu, they dun pay much, at least not until u finish ur chambering then they will give u a raise.

From wat i understood, u need to undergo a 9mnths training which is of the same duration as clp and u get a startin salary of about 4k per mnth?

hi, i just gt my SPM result recently and i plan to study law in future.

I want to study foundation in law and bachelor of law in Multimedia University but i heard somebody said foundation in law of MMU will cause u nt qualified to take CLP, izzit true?

And i also knew that MMU LLB was exempted from CLP=.=

I am quite blur now..so hope u all can give me a clear answer.

Whether after graduates frm Foundation and LLB in MMU, i am qualified to take CLP and after pass it, i can become a lawyer in future?

erm.. Local university graduate no longer need to take CLP right? They can go straight to chambering. Unlike LLB, which requires you to get a minimum of 2nd class lower and above honours in order to qualify to sit for CLP. Only then you may go for chambering.

Yes, you can, or i shall put it this way, reading law at MMU giving you an exemption of CLP which means, after 4 years of studies, you can straight away chambering ....

i had heard somebody said, after he was completed foundation in law, he cant get into Bachelor of law in MMU although his CGPA meet the requirement==izzit true?

Isnt?..I never heard that before..but now mmu have a new policy that u have to take muet to enter the degree..=.="

the MMU officer said the exemption of CLP of MMU is just qualifying till 2011.

then what can the students of MMU do if they still studying law in MMU and after that MMU nt exempted to CLP=.=

Any seniors from cardiff, leeds or manchester here? I'd like to know more about the llb at ur unis...aka student life, quality of lecturers and research, legal aid programs and generally life as a law student there.

hello every one...i;m student from IPTA taking Business Law but i cannot understand what the lecturer teach me,i'm always lost when she's teaching

can anyone here help me how to study law effectively & did any website about business law ??

pls help me bcuz final exam just around the corner.. doh.gif unsure.gif

and if you're in practice, and if you're in litigation practice, read more than just law. Do not think for one second that just because you're practising, you are limited to reading law. Read beyond that.

PS: don't go start reading another fiction book such as ...... I think it is called full moon? or something moon... and all those stuff.
