Anyone using QVOD player? just wanna ask why i always get connection failure for certain websites?

i juz use it for www.tom365.com so far no problem...

I used it, so far so good. I found this article too that using virtualbox to host QVOD http://purpleflute.juzblog.juzweb.com/2008...e-drama-online/

I cant read chinese so i already downloaded this qvod player and click on the movie that i want to download but nothing seems to appear at the qvod there..

Can you guys please advise?

i'm not sure with other side but tom365.com work fine for me, i believe it could be the port from QVOD player to that side is blocked?, cause previously it happen to me at my company that my technical team accidently blocked the port cause tom365.com also not work and always get connection failure but after they removed it ok already

I've been trying to solve the puzzle for 1 month. Actually it turns out that it's the website chinese encoding problem.

At the page where u wanna watch the movie (the popup player page) change your page encoding to western european (windows)
and it will play.

At the toolbar -> Page -> Encoding -> Western European (Windows)

Try it and see whether it works for u.

uninstall this player please..for your own good..bcoz this application will run background and it occupied your bandwidth silently..in order to share files to others..so..eventually slow down your connection..kill it..

streamyx has been blocked certain ports , so u cant dl except tom365....

Does any one hav any idea of what is set speed limit after Qvod EXIT? Highger percentage the better or the lower the better?

This can be found at the Qvod toolbar > file > option > network.

btw www.skyme.com also same as tom365.com
but there is the qvod terminal always running in the background of the computer.how to disable it?

anyone experience qvod slowdown at tom365
i used to have 50k download speed last time
but now only can download ~ 5 - 12k max

i'm using tom365, but the qvod player keeps giving me the msg "open fail" no matter which movie/drama i click on. can anyone help me with this pls? wat shld i do?
