Hie guys,

i'm thinking of getting this phone. Wanna ask feedbacks from you all who are using the phone.

1) Is the phone laggy? I'll be using mainly the phone, messaging and GPS and planner function. Maybe surf net and msn if i'm in Wifi area.
2) Any reliability issues with the phone? Is it prone to hangs and crashes?
3) Is the GPS accurate and fast?

My main reason for getting this phone is because i'm currently looking for a phone (old one got stolen) and having GPS plus a normal numerical keypad attracted me to the P527. The P750 is too expensive for me, and i'm looking to buy the P527 2nd hand. Anything i should look out for when purchasing?

I think i will buy this tomorrow for my wife. Her dopod 818 Pro seems too bulky to carry around.
Any comment for this phone?
And has anyone upgrade to official ROM WM6.1 ?
After upgrade what is the memory left and what is the pro and cons?

The new price for P527 is RM 999. I saw it from The Mines at one phone kiosk M Mobile Communication which is also HTC store.

How is the overall performance? Will it facing any lagging?

I think its real slow. I`m the guy who says 369Mhz is barely adequate for Symbian.

And this P527 is running win mo with a TI OMAP 200Mhz CPU? Unless u can tahan the slowness that is

A fast 6120 classic that I say its only adequate

Hi all, I'm gonna be an owner of this Asus P527 soon. Requested the MOD to move this thread under the PDA-Specific section.

Still yet to review about it but here's what I think

Things I like about Asus P527
- Most of all for it's keypads <-- so I can secretly type sms under table during meeting without anyone knowing it
- SiRF III GPS <-- I have no idea how to use a GPS yet but having one of this as feature sure saves some cost in getting and external GPS device
- Hold Key <-- Block both keypad and touchscr input when not in use
- JogDial & 'OK' Button <-- accessing the menu without stylus and keypad, i think..
- thing thing about Name Card that can copy business card text by scanning thru the camera or something, no idea how ot use this yet

My P525 have that features before I'm moving to WM6, useful for business people who received a lot of business card, but sometime you need to do some editing because some of the data fall on the wrong subject....
