Nah... I don't think there's anything wrong with it. As long as he's consuming lots of water. Given the choice if i'm cutting i'd rather that my caloric deficits are compensated by more protein compared to fats or carbs. But of course there's no perfect rule here, it depends on his goals.
hmmm... icic... but isnt it a little wasteful on the whey proteins? how much does our body utilize actually? i am wondering if lets say u take 600grams while ur body is 200lbs. how much protein is used up by the body... i know different individual has different utilization rate, but wats the normal one?

Probably will have to depend on body size since the rule of thumb ( g/lb )

The body not only requires protein for muscle building, it's also required for making various enzymes, immunoglobulin, hemoglobin, albumin etc.

hehe indeed, it is owas the grip. 110kg, time to get a pair of decent strap. I use it when i go 264lbs and above and it seems my grip improved and i hit 324lbs with 2reps without straps hehehehe (tat was just few days ago.).
hmm... i am starting to use grip as well. currently at 150kg max. =.= without grip i not sure... i doubt i can even get 140kg. haha... its always the grip failure...
Asking out of curiosity... How about using the weightlifters' grip? They whack a few hundred KGs overhead... no gloves, no straps, no nuffin' besides chalk.

haha they gone through lots of training to obtain those powerful grip. =.= i dont think chalk alone with a weak grip will work...
hooks errr... if use too much then i guess we will tend to depend on it too much. strap instead will improve our grips as well.. hope i am not wrong, if yes, sorry... =.=
Painful meh? I kept hearing people say that it is uncomfortable and painful. But I have no problem with it. Maybe it's because I am lifting peanut weights. LOL! X^D

try doing 150kg deadlift with that grip? it hurts coz i did try it once but i failed to tahan. =.= i cant even do front squat coz my wrist feels like its breaking. =.=
Arm day feels like hell .... You lose strength so fast then at first you may be able to do 100lbs dumbbell curls and when you're doing the third bicep exercise you can barely even lift 30lbs of weight ... I hate arms day, although you really feel like you're lifting something.
