i just bought a n82 last week ... i am very disappointed with the so call " 5MP, Carlz Zeiss Optic, Xenon Flash" camera.
my previous phone which is 7390 has better imaging quality in my opinion and that was only 3MP.

anyone else has this same feeling as me ?

no. my feeling is that you have to learn how to use the functions in the camera.

due to that the n82 have 5mp, therefore the picture will appear way larger compare to 3mp. and so there will be more details on the picture either. so a little blurring/out of focus etc will seems more obvious on 5mp compare to 3mp.

this is 1st time i read about an owner who disappointed with n82 5mpx camera shocking.gif ....( if k850 normal edi laugh.gif tongue.gif )
if many peoples and professional juries (n82 win camera phone award) agree this n82 one of the best 5mpx camera phone out there, then if u happen to obtained poor pics, either the problem lies on ur skills or ur phone hv some defect
if ur phone defect, better send it back/repair or if ur phone in good/excellent condition, then u might practice more in order to obtained nice pics...u can ask other forumers in n82's thread n share ur experience....sharing is caring...sure a lot forumers will help u...
good luck bro icon_rolleyes.gif

Can you show us the photo that disappointed you from the N82?
Most people said the N82 can capture very good photos.

well, by far, i am never disappointed with n82's imaging capability but in the same time, i am surprised that 7390 can take good shots and the colour is actually more vibrant than n82. but i wouldnt say n82 couldnt do it, you just need abit of tweaking, maybe on ISO/exposure/WB..

however, if u would have notice... 7390 noise reduction is lesser than n82 and there is slight fringing if u see clearly at 7390's pics. so at zoom, n82 is actually displaying more details compare with 7390.

i am not pro photographer... but this is slightly what i learn during cameraphone snapping... smile.gif

or if u wanted to compare, go to cameraphone gallery.. there is tons of photos you can compare. smile.gif

Why not you try use both phones and take pictures of the same environment or object? Do tat for multi-colored background or lighting. Like tat you will get a better comparison between two cameras. icon_idea.gif

here's one of my pic took using N82, not so l337 in camera tweaking yet, set as Low ISO, decrease 0.5 contrast, set mode to landscape. taken in a very sunny situation.
