aiks.. paul tan is here
edit: hey peeps.. i've been dying to figure out what differences are there between the 6A12 MIVEC engine in the GPvR in comparison to the one from a GPX. Any ideas? All i know is GPvR has a lighter chassis, slight different power density depending on the gearbox that's all. Were the internals of the 6A12 MIVEC different for the GPvR than the GPX? my taiko dun wanna share the info with me laaaaa This post has been edited by Jackie Leong: Jun 5 2008, 07:40 PM |

QUOTE(alkt @ Jun 8 2008, 10:23 PM) QUOTE(Beach_Boy @ Jun 8 2008, 10:24 PM) east malaysia? is there a contact number i can ring them up for an initial quotation? i don't want to go around in circles if prices ain't right cuz with prices of things increasing.. i don't want to travel unnecessarily.. anyways, you can ask them about the costs first, no harm, alternatively you can ask the shop with the big big pioneer sign one(around there also), the sifu is one of the ex-CV workers bb, east malaysia.. kuching sarawak to be precise.. |

i didn't go to automotive genesis today after getting the quotation from howiechoo that it will cost me RM100 to remove my front components, amplifier at the trunk and refit my front and rear stock speakers. so i decided to diy the whole thing with nefrideum's help.
Took 5 Hours to do the following. Remove door panels (2x) to change the speakers. Remove A-pillar panels (2x) to remove the tweeters. Panel below steering to pull the cross-over cables. Glovebox to pull the cross-over cables. Handbrake panel Middle console Whole headunit panel inclusive of aircond controls. Remove extra wires and RCA etc and reconnect previous wiring. All panels from front passenger side to the rear seats. Remove rear C-pillar panels. Remove headrests. Remove brakelamp Remove speaker panel layering. Then after installing all, reverse procedure Also removed my instrument meter to remove those EL-meters I had. |
