It's on all the V8 subaru and above. Just that for most people when they see a subaru, they'd think that they hear the burble even when it is not there. The V8s do sound like a deeper growl of the VTEC. You most probably hear it all the time but automatically associate it with the burble. Think of your own car but bring the tone down 3-4 notes.

aiyo cotton swab is the cotton earbuds which you use to dig all those tiny openings on your body got two cotton 'kepala' on a short stick one....usually come in packs of hundreds...

depends on the tint, but better don't take the risk if you have expensive tints la some will change the tint's color, some will make that part more brittle and tear like your driver's side window...

my birdie doesnt have tinting.. so it's okay

If its your kenari without tint, then try the penknife like those used by those tintshop, if u know the technique.
