Could anyone tell me where can I find arcade cabinets and games in Malaysia, Sabah, or Kota Kinabalu? I'm looking for one for personal use and none of the arcade operators I've asked ever answered my question sad.gif Thanks in advance.

If you have the money, there are many online retailers offering cabinets and games aswell.

I can't find any local ones and reluctant to deal with international trade since shipping would cost me my first born child. Do you mind pointing out where to get one?

Yeah, it's expensive indeed, and it doesn't do what I need. I need real arcade cabinets with JAMMA and harness everything. May be I should mention I would prefer Japanese style cabinets with Japanese components like Egret or Astro City. Thanks for your help anyway smile.gif

Just a thought: Would it be possible to head to an arcade, and try and see if any of the cabinets you want have some sort of manufacturer/distributor sticker on them anywhere?

I'm afraid I can't find any info from there.. and the arcade operators thought I want to compete with their business so they never be able to help sad.gif

I realise, but what I mean is that instead of asking the operators, perhaps you can go in as a customer, act like you're playing while stealthily inspecting the cabinets to see if there's any warranty or manufacturer's number on a sticker pasted on the machines somewhere?

Just a suggestion - based on the assumption that they'll be similar to photocopiers (in the sense that they typically have service numbers located somewhere on the actual machine.)

Did you state you are buying any cabinets in your post? Anyway I was giving you a good and valid suggestion. Can ask the police if you can tender those machines.

But no, you decide to flame me instead.

I'm not going to say more, learn how to read the topic. And I appreciate your suggestion of tendering instead of your initial post of stealing.

The guy wanted to make a joke dude. Relax ey?

I remember that there was a sticker on some arcade cabinets that I used to hang out at Sg Wang long time ago. But seems to have been missing. I remember there somehow was a distributor in Bukit Bintang, but I could be wrong.

I've contacted quite a few from Bukit Bintang but they don't seem interested in doing business for one cabinet only..

Is it possible for you to share the contacts for the Bukit Bintang distributor to me?

I am looking into purchasing a couple of machines for business, but tumpang thread does anyone know what are the requirements to start an arcade business?
