I've got a story.
You know how you're supposed to remove your hair before you get a tattoo right? Most people op for shaving it while some wax it off. I didn't want the hair to grow back rough so I thought I'd wax it. So my girlfriend took me to the pharmacy and whadayaknow, they were out of Veet. So we bought some ghey brand called Nair. So long story short, when she pulled the wax strip from my arm, I didn't feel any pain. And the reason why I didn't feel any pain was because the wax was sticking to my arm instead of the strip. So she had to remove the wax with selophane tape (we looked for baby oil but my house has no babies, and therefore no baby oil. Makes sense?) Anyway, after trying hard to remove the wax, the skin tore off. Not in the disgusting slasher-movie sort of way but think of what a friction burn will look like. So I went through with the tattoo the next day. After doing the outline, the artist started doing the fill. All was well until he got to the part that was really really sensitive. Apparently my skin was resisting the ink, or something like that. In the end it was concluded that I cant get my tat finished up on that day itself. I'm going back there on Thursday. p.s. This story is for your entertainment only. I'm not posting any pics up because it's embarassing enough walking around and having people wonder if I have enough money to finish a half done tattoo (it's that obvious). |

QUOTE(suiteng @ Jun 23 2008, 10:29 PM) Thanks for telling me now.Ah well, the tattoo job actually went extremely well. I'd like to think it'd be a hell of a lot less painful than if I had shaved isntead of waxed. Anyway it's just a half done tattoo now. QUOTE(mumuz @ Jun 23 2008, 10:52 PM) erm i thought we're not supposed to tatt on wounded areas?? Yeah well, the artist said to just go along with it.eh yeah eh..how come we didnt take pic dat day? Plus it all went well. Just got another 3 hours to fill this Thursday. This post has been edited by thebassist: Jun 23 2008, 11:01 PM |

Thought I'd just post something.
My friend got his own name tattoo'd on his arm. Now wherever he walks everybody's under the impression that he's got the name of his gay lover marked on his arm. I think it must be the way it's done. Classic stuff. |

Why not you guys post up what you will never ink on your body, whether it be tribal or color or some particular design or picture.
For me I'll never get dragons, phoenixes, tigers, birds, butterflies (<--- for obvious reasons), chinese characters and meaningless tribal designs. |

Maybe I can tattoo a hairless gorilla on my leg then let the hair grow back to give it that 3D effect

QUOTE(IcedNyior @ Jul 18 2008, 01:35 AM) they were talking about piercing so i was just mentioning the price. I've got some stuff planned out for my whole body.hehe..funny seriously, what are u planning to tattoo on your leg? I've got both my arms done. Probably gonna do an upper back piece in the future involving the deathbat (avenged sevenfold logo) but considering they're still around at that time. But for my leg, I'm keeping my options open. I've got a clue bout what i want, but i dont really wanna say it yet. |

I was based in Sydney in Oz.
Got some of my tats done in The Illustrated. All of the artists are A Class. But if you want the best, look for Tony. |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Aug 6 2008, 07:59 PM) Hmmm okay I get that you're not in any mood for jokes, but I am trying to be as sincere as I can.But a black rose will come out very wrong if the design is not right. It might come off a lil poofy because technically most tattoos are black. So a rose on a guy's body is a lil... weird. You get what I'm saying? QUOTE(jimbo-evila @ Aug 8 2008, 03:28 PM) Thanks for the feedback on it, but i'm not planning on doing anything special to it. i like minimalism. lol. My mom does the same thing even though she disapproves of my tats XDmy mom kinda disapproves of me getting any tattoos at all, but she can't do anything about it after i've got it done. she actually shows me off to her friends and all. lol. My cousin also got a tattoo a month back (he used my account to come here and post up his story on the how he waxed instead of shaved), but instead of getting showed off by his mom, my mom got a scolding from her sister XD Hehe I'm a bad influence. |
