my right leg will be fully tattooed soon probably by Horitomo, apprentice of Horiyoshi III
Damn, Shige will be in KL tattoo convention. To those peoples that really are a tattoo freak. You know it's your chance to get the best tattoo now Price is not cheap as well and i can guarantee it's gonna be $200-300USD/hour but keep in mind, good tattoo are not cheap and cheap tattoo are not good. QUOTE(Faith+1 @ Apr 11 2009, 03:11 AM) 10k to get tattooed by Shige? That's average price for half sleeve if you get tattooed by Shige. I talked to the guy that got a full body suit from Shinji, the apprentice of Horitoshi and he's also feature in Miami Ink. That body suit is 80 hours of works and Shinji price is about the same as Shige. You do the maths hehe..Btw here's the pic of the bodysuit ![]() |

Yeah, famous tattoo artist range between $150-250 price range...
Some of the famous Japanese tattoo artist, i can list a few of them which i really like and called them before to make an appointment and guess what they told me? "ok they are all fully booked a year advance, do you want another artist instead?" Horitomo is my fav http://horitaka.com/horitomo.html NYAdorned, check out Shinji and Chris O'Donnell http://www.nyadorned.com/tattoo/index.htm Brandon Bond http://brandonbond.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=1 Btw, Chris Garver is overrated.. $500/hrs is a ripped off lol Added on April 11, 2009, 9:21 amSilver, it's ok.. save the money and when you have enough then you do it, dont rush it like me because i got a dragon and i never really like it. Right now i am saving a fortune to get the tattoo before i go back for good This post has been edited by hcktr: Apr 11 2009, 09:21 AM |

Yeah that phoenix is awesome, i wouldnt mind to have that on my back! hahah.. Well i am in the US and work part time at a chinese restaurant doing delivery so a tattoo shop always order from us and i am the one who bring them their food. so i started to fall in love with it but then i never do any research and i just go in, i want a dragon...then he sketch it out and i think it's pretty cool then i got it!
But after i do some research and goes omg?? there's more badass tattoo artist and regret it so much so my next ink must be a well known artist no matter how much it cost.. it's on my body forever and i want it to be the best. i wont do it if i dont have enough even though i need to save until 30-40 year old lol |
