yo... i'm new here... i like tattoo very much since i'm small... from last time i always admire pple wit tattoo... now i wanna do but too expensive... and also parents dun like... juz can do without their knowledge... got my lousy and ugly tattoo few month bak... kinda sad... lolz...

In my honest opinion it's not as satisfying when you get a tattoo done that is an imitation of real life examples from the pictures you see on the net. The best course of action is to, of course, do your research- go to google images and type in your query and keep browsing until you've found the right one. It doesn't matter what kinda pic it is- just get the kind of picture that you find represents what you're looking for then see if you can personalize it (by drawing it out by hand or printing it out and tracing it out and then making a few tweaks/additions here and there). Then after that bring it to (as xsaintx mentioned) a reputable tattoo artist, and if he's really good (or even good), he'll make your personal design more professional looking. Of course you have to remember to give him any original picture that you find- but then again precautions are up to you to decide.

Part of the satisfaction of getting a tattoo is the joy in having a major role in getting the design. I've personally hand drawn most of my tattoo designs. Unfortunately I have this thing about identity on internet forums so I can't show it here. You'll just have to take my word for it.

Anyway I digress. Just trust me when I say that if you personalize everything by yourself, you'll get a great satisfaction from having your efforts displayed on your body through the art that you've designed.

i just got my 1st tattoo done day before yesterday, designed it myself then tattoo artist modify it abit lo. i did it on my left chest, quite painful when he doing the ribs part. but feel quite nice during the pain. lol maybe i "bian tai" 1  like pain lol.

Well, I do not advise to do it on your neck, cos in the future, u are going to look for a job, it will be harder, because ur tatoo will be visible.
Why not try stone effect on the word XIX it will look really nice.well, maybe you can just put it right below ur neck at ur back horizontally.

done in US...my 1st tattoo and wanting to get more soon thats a dragon wrapping my upper leg and i want a koi fish under it, with some japanese onimask in the middle. so basically gonna inked the whole leg.. but won't be happening anytime soon...

just asking, because the owner wants to know thats all. he may be claiming copyrights and stuff...i dunno. he's mad, dude.

Hehe this is exactly the reason why I don't like putting my tattoos on the internet.

Because sooner or later someone's going to come along thinking, "hey this isn't half bad" and then he's going to copy it. It may not be 100% but if the tattoo artwork is original (designed by the tattoo owner) then it's some form of plagiarism.

I have a tattoo on my upper arm (around the deltoid) so I'd be hoping to somehow join the shoulder tattoo to that one.

most of the places also put RM100 as the minimum price ler..doesn't matter whether big or small i guess
And normally ppl would suggesr Borneo Ink at Sri Hartamas or Inked at Sunway..the other places i know of is Black Cat at pyramid,tribal bodyworks at sg.wang. Lefty's shop is at times square.
