i just got my 1st tattoo done day before yesterday, designed it myself then tattoo artist modify it abit lo. i did it on my left chest, quite painful when he doing the ribs part. but feel quite nice during the pain. lol maybe i "bian tai" 1 like pain lol.

Do i need to make an appointment with the tattoo artists before going there or i can just drop by? because when their links got e-mail, e-mail them also no reply, maybe should try calling them later

Well u can drop by and ask them, but normally to do a tattoo they will need an appoinment, unless during that time they are free.
I do know that not alot of tattoo place return your email lar..Dunnow why, perhaps they are to tired to type anything after a days hard work..sakit tangan.

i'll compile few of them to bring to the shop to let the artist c tomorrow ler..c how he sketch maybe new one for me or i bring let him c then he modify for me lor..i called jor say can drop by to discuss and sketch won't take that long, then he'll let me know the price and all. He said if very big or complicated then have to make appointment, if not if small one can just do it on the spot. So i will go tomorrow lor..and let them c how 1st. when i done mine already..i will post it up ler..

i showed them a wing pic which was posted previously in this thread, but both tattoo studio says it's too complicated >_< then i wanna do a roman number but both cannot on9 pulak to search for designs and the guy who served me at Tribal Bodyworks dunno whether he's one of the tattoist there or not. xD coz the roman number was a 2nd option and i forgot to bring the sketches along with me that day so couldn't show them except through my phone. So i asked him to help me sketch 1 and because the other day i called, i was told small tattoos can be done on the spot without making an appointment so i opted for that instead since the wing tattoo has to be done other day and i didn't bring so much cash with me. I waited quite awhile there for him to sketch since there wasn't any sample i can choose from or something and the others were occupied.

and i happened to be sick today zzz so i guess it has to wait + streamyx connection here sux.
