 NOKIA N70 bluetooth problem, please help..

hi...

i want to ask if anybody here ncan help me or know how to fix the problem with n70 bluetooth.

my cousin fon (n70) cannot on the bluetooth, the a notice pop up on the fon screen said 'cannot perform bluetooth operation' rclxub.gif

is it software or hardware problem???

if i hard format the fon can the problem fix??

try to master reset it first. If the problem still occur, i think ur bluetooth IC is spoilt bro..

my friend's 6680 also having the same problem.. it is a hardware faulty. fast claim warranty if it is still valid.

i will told him to reset it 1st..
so after reset n still dont fix the prob, its consider harware faulty??
if yes how much cost to repair..
the fon dont hv warranty cover anymore..

i think the bluetooth ic may cost u rm100++..
Last time i change my nokia 6600 bluetooth ic cost me rm180. sweat.gif

last time, my nk 5700 also cannot on bluetooth.. do hard reset first..
if cannot, then consider its hardware faulty.. btw, if the hardware is faulty, u can sell to me since if got some n70 spare part to work with.. tongue.gif

bluetooth maybe is firmware corrupt ,coz last time my N73 also same ,i click on ,the phone will automatic pop back to standy

after i flash the firmware ,everything ok

already hard format the fon... still hv the prob, so i think its hardware problem.. my cousin will send it to repair when hv extra money....

of course can be repaired lar.... if cant repair, the phone how to use bluetooth? its the bluetooth module problem. some can be repair and somes need to change the module. the price range for both is the same. it should be ranging from rm80- rm120.
