just wonder how many of u actually use touchflo3d... i disabled it after few days of using it, prefer the old classic WM Today
TF3D is just not so friendly to me afterall, even after tons of tweaking to make it faster
miss the coolness of TF3d thou

no in TF3D, move the....wat do u call it...the sliding thing. to connections. and do u see communications? click it. and then u should see "3G/GSM mode" and again i'm not sure if official rom you're using has it.
*
i believe that's only in cooked ROM, eg bepe rom setting that let u customise the comm manager
not sure if there is any installer out there to customise comm manager
i just disable GPRS/3G Auto Attach in advanced config, and set in setting "When connection is needed" connect using My Work Network
that solved my problem

invisible shield is only suitable for back cover and overlay area
i peeled off the screen part after using for 2 weeks, it was just too sticky to be used
bought a cheapo screen protector, but hey, it does the job pretty well

i was thinking about putting the normal cellophane tape on those edges which are not covered by invisible shield, but kinda worry of it peeling off the paint after long term usage, duh
still have to be careful after using all sorts of protection haha

How can i make a folder in my programs page and installed my applications into it? Or move existing applications into them?

Not sure if this is posted before. Please give me the link if it was already posted. Thanks.
*
in /windows/start menu/ directory, create new folder with the name u want, and put the application shortcut into it smile.gif

y mean just copy the entire folder into the program file folder and execute it from the phone? i cant seems to get it working.. when i click on the .xml file the opera browser will appear and that's it.. i suppose there should be a setup file or something?
*
don't unzip the .cab file, just run it in ur pda and it will install

duh im back to the diamond league tongue.gif sold away omnia
bigger screen and better processor don't compensate for lower resolution, and the 5mp camera is just hyped, even worse than diamond's

stylus was fine, wont need it that much, the main reason that i sold it was that the camera failed to impress, and the gps was extremely slow
finally, no cooked rom to play around tongue.gif

i got a question here..does the touch pro camera also slow lik diamond??wen u take pic that time auto zoomed and wen u shake it takes blur pic??actually beside camera with flash and got qwerty key wat else is different from diamond??should i change to touch pro?XD
*
larger rom larger ram, my bro's touch pro has 11x MB free ram during normal usage, and 2xx storage memory for installing program
keyboard is neat too
camera is pretty much the same, LED flash is useless
if not for the bricky size....

fell in love with the Diamond;
originally the price set me back @ 2799
then came the biggest blow, without LED flash light
then no mircoSD slot

why all HTC phones no LED one?
except the TP (now only they realised the importance?)

hahahahahahaha.....
*
LED = bullshit
micro SD slot is fine for me anyway, diamond battery can't sustain multimedia entertainment haha, mp3 player is better

it is a flash, but u will hardly find it useful, LED is not bright enough for outdoor use, and using it indoor normally will make the object to be too bright in close shot

why my wifi on diamond will off it self then on again n off again 1??is it like that 1??or need any setting to it??
*
it will off when u put diamond into sleep mode, and on again when the device wakes up
just disable it in comm manager, and enable it when u want to use it

did u hard reset after flashing? i find that's a must for GPS to work
alternatively, try the HTC GPS tools method posted in diamond general discussion on xda-developers forum
.07 works best for me anyway, in fact diamond's GPS is the best GPS i've ever seen tongue.gif

i am not able to convince myself of dishing out 2xx to buy a battery haha
my singtel set has a secondary battery, so it's fine for me, 2 x 900 = 1800mah
just that i have to change the battery by taking the cover off, but well, saving 2xx and a lil bit slimmer tongue.gif

any pictures to compare side by side the thickness of diamond with default battery and the extended one?
*
i believe it's 3mm, so just use a ruler and put on ur diamond to measure the extra 3mm smile.gif

shouldn't be a problem if it's from singapore, still easy to claim warranty smile.gif
but if it's from ebay...
