my diamond now requires a hard reset... now i remember why i stayed away from WM for so long since PPC days...

i was just installing MS Reader and when i did the soft reset to update fonts, it won't start up again... 

good thing i haven't saved much on the phone... otherwise to the bin with the diamond!  oh well that's microsoft for you...

I don't hv problem with that to hang up a call just press the physical End button twice the call will hang up without delay.

yes just press twice without press the power button even though the screen is off.

I hard reset 3 times already, my diamond run very laggy after using for some time so hard reseted 3 times during the trouble shooting, end up manage to find the problem.

Funny what u did to your diamond?I think u actually boot in to spl already, if i'm not mistaken the only way to hard reset now is holding the volumn down button and enter button then reset.

My problem is actually cause by some korean mp3 with the korean character in the file name, this mp3 actually sync automatically to my diamond internal storage and some how i believe it's not compatible with the TF3D because i found that the TF3D cpu usage is very high when i have this kind of mp3 in the internal storage. so end up hard reset and format the internal storage and now running fine.

i see no one complain about this -> when i send an sms, there is no notification prompt specifying that it has been successfully sent... it kind a leave me in a dark whether the sms was sent successfully. is this meant to be that way?

There is a setting to enable delivery notification but that means i would be receiving 'sms' notification for all sms being sent out.

does that means i am running out of memory? looks like my memory leaks are getting worse

did you just get a window prompt notification saying that your sms has been sent successfully or do you receive an sms notifying you that?

it was installed in the internal storage. oh no... well, it was installed by PDAexpert. so am not sure if it was a good one though... i wondering whether it has anything to do with the memory leak.

ah.. there is a setting to enable the sms notification via Advanced Config tool > Messaging > SMS Sent Notification > ENABLED

unfortunately didn't work for me.  had to hard reset... and this time after installing garmin and setting up my rss feeds etc

i need to do this sprite backup thing...

haha.. this is great.  i found this out also.. but the rom still got many things to be improve.. sort like.. sms cannot forward, then we cannot manage folder for the sms.. for me this is very important to store my hundreds of sms daily..

hmm... after all the hype talking about diamond... i went to lowyat yesterday to try that diamond. but then, frankly, i wasnt really impressed. the touch3d is still flawed. no doubt it is nice, but not as smooth as i imagined and watched the demo over the "a week with diamond" journal. however, the size totally surprised me because i wasnt really sure how big is the touch. i thought it might be size of a d810... but darn they made it so sleek. so far that is what i am impressed of.. but switching off touch3d shows the real speed.. and there i start to like diamond.

i was turned off because the price is RM2799 and no nego and i remember candccom selling for rm2588.. no? albeit the touch3d (which i dont worry coz there is firmware upgrade in future), diamond is something that hard to resist for PDA enthusiast. somehow, my heart say "wait for touch pro la.." 256MB ram + Keyboard...

What coreplayer version are u using? Make sure its 1.2.5 and above as those versions before do not work with windows mobile 6.1

Hobbes: put it in /windows. make sure u trim it first dun waste space

for RING and Message Alert tone, copy the music in the root of storage memory, it should support mp3
