There should have Network Wizard in Connection setting.
ie select country and provide name for auto configuration, then restart/ softreset

hmm.. i tend to get this error sometimes when using MAPKING. "RT Error : Out of Storage"?

does that means i am running out of memory? looks like my memory leaks are getting worse sad.gif
*
Its a normal error when using Mapking. When you travel to non POI locations, especially when u choose destination from the map, your pda has to do a lot of calculations in order to calculate a route, and can sometimes cause "Out of Storage" error.

SOLUTION: Head to a POI near the location u wanna go to, and once u reach that POI, then onli choose new destination.

EG: From Damansara i wanna go to a small road in Sungai Long. Calculating immediately gimme storage error. Instead, i calculate to a known POI = Jalan Sungai Long. Once near my destination, i do a new calculation.

BOTTOM LINE: Shorter distance = less storage memory needed for calculation

Congrats .......
1. How do I set the SMS alert tone for different group ?
U can't assign SMS alert for different group, u need to install some 3rd party program to do that.

2. I have configure the VPN to my office, but how do I able to make them connected to my office network?
Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new VPN server connection

just sharing some info after i had to do a hard reset yet again after tweaking the registry.

from xda-developers:

QUOTE
please review the following:

warning!:

the following registry settings can cause handset to freeze on soft reset. message on screen: "tap here to start touchflo 3d". screen is not responding.
Hard reset will be required. So far we received many reports by customers attempting the following registry tweak. Hard reset was the only option to address the issue:

Quote:
Boost TFL3D Performance --> HKLM\System\Storagemanager\Fatfs and change key Cachesize from 16384 to 32768

it seems that quite a few people got their pda to hang after a soft reset while some others say that it has no effect. refer to thread for more info:

Mine - MMS setting etc etc no problem at all after the device do the auto setting wizard. Use Maxis 3G. In order to reduce the finger prints effect -i went to gadget skins and wrapped my Diamond. Finger prints effect reduced to 80-90 percent plus the touch flo works even better!

Some nice things about the Touch Diamond taken from pocketnow.com :

# You know how when you call someone, you have to hold the phone up to your ear and listen to it ring and ring and ring and wait until they pick up? The Touch Diamond has an awesome little feature where instead of doing that, you dial the call and just hold the device in your hand. When the person you’re calling answers, you feel a little vibration. Then you can hold the phone to your ear and start talking right away. Absolutely genius!

# Finding that mute button when an incoming call happens at the wrong time can be pretty difficult and annoying depending on what you’re being interrupted of. The Touch Diamond has implemented a great feature where you can just flip the phone over and place it face down in order to ignore and silence an incoming call. You don’t have to look at it, you don’t have to feel for some button on the phone. Just flip it over! (If you leave it flipped over, incoming calls will still sound, so just flip it up and down to silence it in that case) Throwing it across the room may also work, but I haven’t tried it.

# The stylus is held in by a magnet and snaps into place. Not only that, but when you remove the stylus, the Touch Diamond wakes itself up from Standby mode and becomes instantly ready for you to interact with.

# The Touch Diamond finally brought back the ambient light sensor. Back in 2000, if you had an iPAQ H3600 (also made by HTC), you remember how it would change the screen brightness depending on how bright your environment was. The Touch Diamond brings this great feature back, and makes for a nicely usable screen even in outdoors sunlight.

# There are little LED lights inside the circular part of the action button. They’ll glow and flicker in different patterns to indicate different status states. A slow glow from top to bottom indicates a charging status, while a rapid flicker indicates an alert or announcement.

# UPDATE: Touch sensitive hardware buttons. When you touch the action button with your finger while using the camera, this will activate auto-focus. Then you press the button all the way to take a picture. (Thanks Action Jackson) Also rubbing the circular area around the action button in a clockwise or counterclockwise motion will zoom in or zoom out in the Photo Album and Opera browser. It will also change the text font sizes in email messages and text messages.

This is what Baronic taught me, it can be done, see below i directly copy pasted his PM

To forward, u have to select the message.

STEP 1 : Open Inbox
STEP 2 : Close keyboard, or any other text input software
STEP 3 : Press up and down key, and you'll see you're highlighting the entire message (not text highlight, message highlight)
STEP 4 : highlight the message u want to forward, then press menu > Forward

Added on June 12, 2008, 9:29 amIs there any way to turn off the notification thing?

Like each time there is a missed call, a message an ugly notification thing will pop up on the bottom of the screen and asked to VIEW or DISMISS it
