for pdas there is no such thing as AP. only original SIS. those ap are imported from overseas, and the warranty is stupid and idiotic. if u are careful u notice its SERVICE warranty. which amounts to squat. any problems u still end up paying for parts. services u might as well go read manual and open your device yourself. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AP

The problem with AP is the terms and conditions differ from company to company. For HTC products, the only AP company offering it is PDA Gears which offer a 15-month warranty. There are no other companies as far as I know. So who knows where is PDA Gears and what are their service quality history? For me, I don't know a thing about that company.

For other mobile phones, we have countless of AP companies with a select few having very good service quality and a good history of reputation. For those mobile phones, I am comfortable with buying AP since I have very good experience with it. But I don't think the difference of AP and SIS Touch Diamond is that big. The last I check it was something like RM2700 (SIS) and RM2500 (PDAGears). So I would rather top up a small difference because there's no incentive in buying AP at all.

The price now can be very different from the time I bought mine so you really need to consider these aspects.

i never listen to FM b4 using my TD.. only tried once using the headphones to listen songs.. but gave up after that because the battery drain like shit.. lol.. i know i know.. u guys sure recommend for the extended battery.. kekeke

I don't want my HTC Touch Diamond to be HTC Fat Turtle.

I'm very used to T9 typing. Hence not a problem although I migrated from QWERTY PDA. New diamond keyboard is even faster when typing legitimate english entries.

Not too sure about you guys but yesterday, i hit the max memory leak issues i am having. Not sure about the last time i hard reset my phone but yesterday, without any program running at the background, the memory stays at 75%. Now tell me that aint serious. LOL....

Extended battery wise, its in my plan but have yet to make a move. Maybe its still too expensive for me to afford

I dont really install alot program inside. Probably 2 or 3 which i dont even launch them after install. I just use it like a normal phone (calls, sms etc) but still, the problem persist.

I don't think so, I can listen to the same frequency clearly on my car radio. Nvm la, forget about FM radio. Diamond still rox!

I thought of getting an extended battery but after a while, I decided not to. The first day I bought the PDA, the battery lasted me for 6 hours only. Second day onwards, it lasted for one whole day with some excess left. Yesterday, the power is sufficient for 2 days usage. Today, there's still 8 bars left although it's night time. The battery lasting longer and longer.

I just update my ROM and radio. I do think that 1.00.25.05 saves more power and give less heat.
