I noticed my Face-Down-Mute-Ring doesn't work after the 1.93 upgrade. I have done this tweak:

4. Switch Mute Call on phone flipped face down: HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE : FaceDownMuteRing: change value to "0"

But it still doesn't get muted when i face down my phone... Anybody got this issues?

Another thing, when trying to sync... i am always unable to sync and getting error "ActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop."

Why is that so?

Activesync problems, make sure your firewall has an exception for the activesync/windows mobile device center program.

simple way to check if anything is actually wrong during connection
start->settings->connections->usb to pc->uncheck enable advanced network functionality.

this will let activesync connect without using network, it's slower but the firewall won't stop it.

Yes, u can insert directly. In ur message, click on MENU -> Add Recipient, find the name and it`ll automatically insert the number once selected.

What he meant was to insert his contacts into his message. Once you click on the message box the "Add Recipient" option will go grey and you won't be able to select it. For me I just "search name" for the contact I want and copy & paste it into the message. Not very efficient but at least it works.

I have a problem here. Installed MapKing 2007 and loaded some maps in it. The problem is, i cant seem to get the GPS working. When i click the GPS icon on MapKing, it will show some connectivity screen but at the end, a screen will pop up saying "Cant get GPS position" or something like that. Then it will ask me to switch to Navigation Mode. Whats the problem?

Yea, chinese character is a problem for me as well. Received some chinese sms and all it was displayed is some weird character. I tried to install a chinese program into the Diamond before, and can display chinese character but somehow, it turn most of the menu into chinese

are u outdoors? is your car tinted?

under tools > options > GPS (or something like that), just change the GPS com port to AUTO.

Indoors and when tinted can't get GPS....sobs thats what happen to my phone.
