Have anyone of you guys encounter this prob:

Open inbox, sometimes you get duplicate items but you can open the dupp items. then you browse up and down, it'll duplicate another item.

Guys, Anybody got a better option to do this?
1. Typing SMS and inserting a person contact number from the Contacts.. Have to copy the contact number from contacts first and then open write sms to paste the number.. Any better way like importing from contacts.. (i noticed that we have insert options but can only insert Picture/Video, Audio, vCard, vCalender, Attachment)..
2. If someone sends a contact number thru a SMS, we cannot call/save the number in the SMS straight away... Have to Edit the sms, copy the number then only save.
3. If an unknown contact send you and sms, you cannot save the number into the contacts like add to contact.. you have to do manually..
Anybody got a better way to do all these?

1 + 2 i'm not sure.

3. when you're reading a message in the inbox app (not touch flo screen) tap on sender's name in the from field and you'll be given the option to save to contacts.

When you are creating a new sms, spell out the recipient's name in the "To:" field, then select Menu -> Check Names. It will then search your contacts for the best matches. If more than 1 are found, then you will need to select from a list, else it will be selected automatically.

Yeah, then you will have to cut from the "To:" and paste it into the MSG right?
But is there a way to like import the number straight into the MSG? Like is the Insert option.. Where we can insert other media like Audio, Video, but no option to insert Contact Numbers from our phone book..

Hi all,

Hope i didn't miss any information before posting this question.
My TD with the below firmware:
ROM version : 1.93.797.1 WWE
ROM date : 07/13/08
Radio version : 1.00.25.05
Protocol version : 52.29.25.12H

1. SMS delay. few SMSs came in one shot while phone is idle and with MAXIS coverage.
2. Miss call notification from MAXIS while phone again idle and with coverage.

Am I the only one having this problem with TD + MAXIS?

thanks.

@kyoshiro, sounds like a fulty mike. get it checked.

@nairud, i have no idea. u're the first person with diamond having this problem. try check up in XDA dev. also i think if u delete all your messages, hopefully the problem will not reoccur.

@Oniea, how many days have this been happenning? i know recently maxis had some problems. so u check and see, if like, still occurs or not now. but it shouldnt.

for you sms problem, u have to change your sms settings to try to avoid this problem.

download this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749, and then run it, and look for "wake up on new sms", Make sure its ticked

u can try PIMbackup or Activesync to backup ur contacts. PIMbackup is also capable of doing backups on messages.
It's best to backup ur internal storage as well, just plug it into ur comp n copy all the files u want into ur comp. smile.gif

It's Maxis. I just called them a few days ago complaining about they recent service quality
they told me they are 'upgrading their systems to handle the influx of customers once number portability began'
I wanted to say 'aren't you just given your customers a reason to leave Maxis then?'

Symptoms i've been getting
- dropped calls
- late sms
- missed calls
- called but other side cannot hear
- EDGE doesn't work but 3G does

a whole load of problems!

Can anyone recommend a good registry cleaner? Something simple yet does the job well. At the moment, sktools and memmaid seems to be good choices. I don't tweak registries. Just for freeing ram and cleaning purposes. Thanks a lot.
