Ok, the new Opera 9.5 Beta has been released, it IS a newer build than the one on our Diamonds (at least on mine lar) So I installed it and found out that the old one kept getting launched.

Long story short, to launched the beta version of Opera you'll need to create a shortcut to \program files\opera95\oprea9.exe

By default, the shortcut created by the installation points to the operal.exe file which.. launches the opera9.exe located in the system folder first (ie. the built in one.) Attempting to replace the file in the system folder (Backing up the original files first) resulted in Opera constantly starting up unrequested.

The new beta since it's not made for the Diamond doesn't have the autorotation feature (HOORAY!!!) And when you drag and move it doesn't slide to a stop. there are other subtle differences as well, but if you want to try the latest beta on your Diamod, here's how!

Is this your first attempt to launch it or its been working previously? Because you need to update it at least once for the info to appear in weather.

Okay, here's my problem. I've been trying to move the album sample pictures out of My Pictures, all pics moved except the pic with the girl blowing bubble (this pic cannot be seen when I set my TD as a drive, no Active Sync).

After i disconnect and scroll to the pictures & videos function in TF3D, only that i noticed its still there. Tapping on it activated the video instead of picture viewer! Its actually a video!

Anyone here knows the exact location of this file in TD? There is 1 file named Album Sample_04.3gp in My Videos folder that i cant view when i copied into my desktop. I'm not sure if this is the one, but it is still in My Videos, shouldn't be in My Pictures right?

My Zagg InvisibleSHIELD finally arrived! Applied it yesterday evening. It was a hell of a task. Unlike the Best Skin Ever, it is too sticky and even it is a wet application, its hard to align it to the Touch Diamond's lines. But then the end result is favorable. Now my rear battery cover is fully protected from scratches and to some extend finger print resistant. Also it is not as sticky (on the outside) as the Best Skin Ever. My iPOD Touch with BSE applied sticks to everything it is placed on.

Will take some pictures when the curing process is completed and the bubbles minimized. It'll take some time though.

Yeah, but I don't know which file to search for, "girls blowing bubbles?" Actually I found it, the girl blowing bubbles is actually Album Sample_04.3gp in My Videos but I don't know why my TD crashed while playing it. I now moved the video to a sub folder, "Album Sample" so that it won't appear in the main screen (TF3D).

I still couldn't find the way to sort the images in My Photo's...

I was wondering why it happens but all my notification sounds were cleared. now after I read this.

lol, what i do is create folders within My Pictures. In TF3D they become albums. so i have like "my baby and i", "family" and "Misc" albums lol

Generally very pleased with it, although I find it a little sluggish at times. Everyone who has seen it likes it.

For the past week I have read in depth both this forum and the XDA forum and as a result I am suffering from information overload!!

I know that if I ask the question "What is the best ROM?" it's like asking "What is the best car?" It is subjective and everyone has their own opinion.

I want to flash my ROM without making my TD a brick. Yes, I know the answer is to search but information overload has made me dizzy.
What I want to do is flash my ROM but be able to go back to the original if necessary.

Could someone please give me an idiots guide. Never having flashed a ROM before I am confused about signed, unsigned etc.

There's no such thing as KISS here. I mean you don't request for help but demand it simple. Sometimes it is not as simple as executing the procedures. You need to understand the logic behind these procedures and the sequences. Otherwise you'll still brick your phone.

It'll give you the necessary procedures as well as sources of ROMs, SPLs and Radio ROMs. You'll have to do some reading what are these (because you want it simple). You can do the reading here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=430

A simple sequence would be like this:

1. Flash a Hard-SPL unsigned version.
2. Choose a ROM of your choice. If the ROM set does not comes with a Radio ROM, choose one also from Xda-Developers.
3. Flash it and you're done.

As to what ROM to use and what Radio ROM and why. You'll still need to do some reading on the above sources given. For a start, I am currently using TLR v3 ROM and it is reasonably good. You may have your own preferences so again, do some reading. You'll be happy soon enough.

My Diamond Calendar always start with Agenda View (eventhough ive changed the setting to Month View) - not a biggie but its a bit annoying Anybody facing the same problems?

Maxis selling the TD at RM2199 with freebies - with contracts of course but ive also come across lelong guys letting go 'new' TD at RM1799! Not sure whether really 'new' or not plus i dont think its SIS ones. Still RM1799 is a very hard to believe price.

Is it true that only HTC devices can pull yahoo/gmail emails direct to the devices and LGKS20 cant do that? (according to Maxis tech la..)
