OK, first of all, I just want to make it clear that she's staying in a rented house (all girl students), had a dog before, super love dogs, and I'm ready to help out with the expenses.
Hinted b4 she love the guardian and macho type ones...
Anyway, spitz look like a good choice also.
I'm ready to take turns to take care of the dog.
I LOVE dogs too. Only thing is, my parents disallow dogs at home doh.gif

You no like my Barney sad.gif
And also the cost of ownership

My barney ate

400g of food per day @ RM180 per 15kg
Injection costs 80 bucks every month for the first 4 months
3 botles of vitagen a week @ RM3.69 per pack of 6
500g of dory fish per week @ RM 5.99 per 500g
2 bottles of yoghurt per week @ RM1.49 per bottle
Bought about 13- 14 toys over a period of 3 months cost ranging from 9.90 to 39.90
Shampoo and conditioner cost 90 bucks about 450ml
Medical checkup cost 25 bucks each time
Cut nails 5 bucks every 2 weeks or so

Edit: Not to mention the bones he chewed and treats wink.gif
On top of that, the amount of time needed wink.gif

Think twice if you can afford the time and money go ahead

Don't adopt a puppy for someone else. If you plan to give to your gf, make sure she chooses the puppy herself. She is the one who will have to look after it for the next 10-15 years. Not to mention the time and expenses involved.

I've got 3 dogs myself and it really changes your lifestyle, a bit like taking carte of children but not so serious.

So be responsible and take her to choose it herself, maybe you might find out she actually doesn't want one.

I really wanted to take her out to let her choose herself, but problem is, she always busy busy...
And of coz i am a dog lover myself. I love life. How can I see another living thing suffer?

ANY PUPS TO GIVEAWAY? sweat.gif

Cas:
I made a trip there yesterday. Says it's located next to Starbucks, on every Saturdays.
But I don't see any pet shops around? Hmm... hmm.gif

please read this carefully

DONT BUY DOG, if SHE WANTED IT, SHE WOULD GET IT ALREADY,
DONT FOLLOW MOVIES, those FAKE
IN REAL LIFE, BUYING DOG FOR OTHER PEOPLE IS A BAD IDEA.

Belive it.
*
Is that so? hmm.gif

Well, the thing here is, she doesn't want to buy a new dog herself because I believe she still have great love for her dead dog. It's a way to mourn for the dead.
Yes, she was deeply traumatised by the loss of what she considered as part of her family member.
Or maybe she cannot bear the feeling of losing another dog in the future.

For me I'm doing my part NOT because I got the money and car, and college kids don't.
I'm not manipulating her to love me either.
I'm doing this because I love her and refuse to see her down in depression.
I want to feel happy on her behalf.
I want to live for somebody and a pet, instead of throwing away my hard-earned cash to car modifications.

Now u can say movie is really fake in that sense. rolleyes.gif

GUYS/GIRLS, IF YOU'RE GIVING AWAY DOGS FOR CARING, RESPONSIBLE OWNER, HERE I AM.

They are there only every saturday 1pm onwards. They're located outside Starbucks. It's not a pet shop dear. You can just help them foster the dog first and if she chooses to keep the dog then you can get it adopted. Much better option than buying a dog.

Whoa~thx for the clarification!
Definitely a much better option than adopting one SPCA.
Not to worry, I'm not those type who treats pets like trash.
I'm the kind who can play with a dog for six hours straight without getting tired. blush.gif wub.gif

Added on June 5, 2008, 3:20 pmHey fellas,

Today I went to Borders and read up abt dog-master relationship just for her laugh.gif .
I want to share this:

COPING WITH THE LOSS OF A DOG:
1. Losing a pet can be as difficult as losing any other family member.
2. Let friends/family know what ur going thru.
3. DO NOT ASSUME, though, that a new dog can replace the one you lost - dogs are individuals.
4. New dog - may or may not make situation better. It all depends on your dog's personality. Take time for good decision making.
5. An older dog might be a better choice than a rambunctious puppy.

That's all I got before the guard caught me scribbling little pieces of information onto a tiny piece of paper and sent me out of the store. But these are very important snipplets.
Hope u find them useful.
