Hello All !

I was at the gym today listening to my iPhone music while running.

Suddenly, the i lost my balance (details not important) and my iPhone dropped and fell and i believe i dropped it 2 times! - first on the treadmill and second on the floor! poor iPhone..

Thankfully, the was no damage- the screen was ok and no additional scratches!
I admit i can be a klutz at times, and i hv dropped my iPhone (while it was without any protective casing) a number of times, and it has managed to be ok!

From my experience, this is a very sturdy phone.

This event inspired me to create this post. Im wondering whether other iPhone users hv had similar experiences, and whether they ended in pleasant surprises (i.e. no damage to iPhone) or whether it ended in utter disaster.

Anyway if anything happen to that iphone. U cant do anything but to cry right even though is still under warranty? Any other way to repair it locally?

first iphone of mine, drop a few times minor scratches and stuffs...
during CNY, back ipoh go clubbing when i take out it somehow drop and i manage to deflect the first drop by acting like some kung fu kid, deflecting it into the air, and dint manage to catch it and it kissed the tarmac hard rolled a few times, speaker part there terkeluar d

2nd and current iphone,
drop around 5 times, sakit hati man
lucky got protector. I totalled my first switheasy and now on my second one...

i'm a butterfinger after all eh, lucky no crack screen for me

The 2nd one is blessed

Never drop it since day 1 but its already been open up and swap battery. Somehow the capsule have become part of the phone.

Swap battery?

everytime it drops.. i'll be sweating buckets..

w0ot.. my phone so far never hurt yet. still pretty kewL with safety kit(seidio innocase)
it cant protect my phone if it fall but atleast, the grip of the iphone become better as it was rubber. not easily slip.. haizzz

my phone drop once on 3rd days of use.. also got kemek on the top left beside the audio jack.. the drop cause by...... my lecturer!

Today is my 1 month using iphone,never drop yet..still look pretty only the back apple logo got little scratch..

wahahah then u should ask him to add your marks as to compensate your loss..

never drop before, sayang the phone very much, can proudly say that the iphone doesnt have a single scratch at all

i have yet to experience anything of the gravity pull on my iphone..being extra careful all the time..cozip being good..yet im not sure where the small scratches came from at the back of my phone

scrathes far far better than broken.. am i correct?

i accidentally dopped my iphone last two months ago and everytime i saw the scratch, i feel angry to myself...

even a slightly scratch will bring such uncomfortable feeling. after the drop of my iphone, that night after that i have a terrible dream bout my iphone getting soak in a water an all that.

For me depend which part loh,if the aluminium part got scratch i dont care,but

the front part

When i dropped mine... no nightmare but sakit hatiii giler... yeah.. there is a sense of sadness when i look at the scratch. its like s**t! that's not cheap! damn..

its may not too expensive coz last 4 years ago, i bought nokia daun around 1.7k also..

but, because of the design make us feel very sayang to it, am i correct??

totally correct. better go for the phone case and spend RM150+ rather then a scratch or crack on the screen and spend RM1k+.

Ya,i always put it slowly on some stable and clean condition,

But i like the way it sit on the dock...look nice!!

after dropping it for alot of times, you feel lazy to sayang your phone/Gadgets dy. just like my ipod classic.

dropped many times wont hurt as long it doesnt tear down ur precious, but word just a word.
i can see iphone very easily to break compare to normal phone..

the front glass screen is pretty solid and scratch resistant compared to other normal phones... mine only kena small scratch line at the metal apple logo coz of some stupid sand particles on the table

does the chrome part near the screen easy to scratch?
