President Yoshimi Yasuda chose not only to violate this agreement, but also turned defiant, telling me ?if you are dissatisfied with the decision not to pay the bonuses, either quit the company or sue it.? In addition, he made demeaning remarks about me to my subordinates and colleagues, causing me significant emotional distress and worsening my personal relationships and work environment. Thus, I have no choice but to resign from Tecmo Co., Ltd.
The conduct of Tecmo Co., Ltd. and its president Yoshimi Yasuda towards me has been unbefitting of a publicly-listed company.
I have filed this lawsuit with a strong intent to question the social responsibility of Tecmo Co., Ltd. and its President Yoshimi Yasuda, as well as condemning them for their unjust acts. Today, in addition to announcing the reasons for this lawsuit, I make clear my reasons for resigning.
To All Game Fans,
I truly feel sorry to all the fans of the games I have made. NINJA GAIDEN 2, which will launch on the 3rd of June will be the last NINJA GAIDEN I will create. I will also never be able to make DEAD OR ALIVE 5. I regret the circumstances that have forced me to leave Tecmo, where I had worked for so many years, and I regret the disappointment this will cause my fans.
However, I can no longer continue to work with President Yoshimi Yasuda, a man who chooses not to honor promises even when he is able to do so.
I truly hope that nothing like this happens again in the future.

From what I have read that itagaki guy is pretty outspoken. If you read his interviews u can see he has this rockstar attitude and is pretty direct and frank about his opinions until they can seem tactless. He kutuk ninja gaiden sigma if I remember correctly, saying that it is not revolutionary at all and said his subordinate yang buat. "The game is no good" he said.
I can understand if the president lost his temper and maybe can't handle his attitude anymore.

I remember reading in EGM, Itagaki told the interviewer, "Solutions to problems can be found in the bottom of a whisky bottle"
He also said Game developers should drink more. and that his favourite whisky is Jack Daniels.
He must have awful taste though. JD sucks hardcode. Any single malt scottish whisky is better than JD.

The engine which drives NG2 is the exact same engine which was used years ago when the first NG came out on the Xbox. It hasn't been improved since then, no major updates to it. So I would say NG2 will look about as good as Sigma on the PS3. Personally, I think Sigma looks a little better than NG2 though(native 720p vs 585p), visuals wise that is. The gore in NG2 is an entirely different story. |

If Tecmo is smart, port NG2 over to the PS3. When Sigma was being ported to the PS3, you have no idea how much itagaki was b*tching during the process.

Tekken is 100% arcade dude. You cant play it using the joypad. You need the greasy and the oily Malaysian arcade cabinet, complete with loose buttons on the arcade stick, with smoke buds all over the place  And some emo opponenton the other side of the thing. |

Ya.. my first play on Tekken1 is at Arcade, but after this i always use sony joypad to play the rest of the Tekken series at PS/PS2. I remember me also play the DOA2 on arcade b4..... anyway fighting game always the best with Arcade joystick. |

I kind of remember playing DOA4, and I only somehow managed to button mash it. It felt like, playing tekken, just that you need to do abit more same button presses. But the graphics are good and the combos are nice. I like Counter Holds most.
Hurm, him leaving Team Ninja sounds ok, but after the stocks plummet, I wonder what's Tecmo gonna do...

Sure, not as deep as Tekken.... but nonetheless as good as Tekken is. Besides, when it comes to deepness of gameplay, Virtua Fighter is king.

Guys, remember the Itagaki's sex harassment scandal which happened in the company like few years before? from what I've heard from japan sites, the company did cover him up so he could win the lawsuit.
Although it has nothing to do with current lawsuit but hey, in japanese society, even a minor accident you've caused, the company have all the rights to fire you to maintain the company's reputation. That's why some japanese gamers do think that Itagaki is stabbing the CEO back this time.
anyway, he's a joke to me, forget about this rock-star-wannabe-pervert for now.
I have no interest on his game so quit or not? It's not my problem.
