What to do? We don't have much choice over here when it comes to HT projector. I was once introduced an out-dated unit from local store. Luckily didn't rush in. sweat.gif

After reading through posts in here, HD65 seems to be best bang for bucks...anybody using the HD803?

Watch blurays while pangsai??!! This is one damn 名句金言. Haha! If not mistaken, within one month time entry level 6-series Onkyo receiver has turned into an 8-series fever. Then follow by "cheap sub good bass" into "expensive sub good bass". Now I feel that entry level HD65 is going to change course soon or later. laugh.gif sweat.gif Hopefully I'm able to upgrade my pj after Raya... rolleyes.gif

To those who owned the HD65, just wondering if it is able to produce the "pop" effect in PQ, like its big brother HD82 when watching BD movies... hmm.gif

I was completely blown away when I saw a demo of Iron Man through this HD82 here in KK, it's like I was right in the movie action. What impressed me most was that the image was even projected on an untreated wall. I couldn't imagine how will it look like if it's on a proper HT screen.

Poisoned deeply since then...I do hope that the HD65 can do wonders though, at least able to feel like I'm in the real race when playing PS3 Grid. biggrin.gif

Where in KK did you see it? Karamunsing?

In A-Kai's showroom. IT shops in Karamunsing sometimes are a disappointment. You can try to ask around for a Optoma HD65, and most of them will give you a unsure.gif look. From what A-Kai told me, his HD65 is selling like hot cakes. They should setup a proper HT shop in Karamunsing.

You won't be disappointed with HD65 once u use proper screen. Sure got 'pop' effect if it is properly calibrated biggrin.gif

Now that's very promising. Hope I can get it soon enough...money has been draining out fast recently...and Hari Raya is around the corner, again. Last time when I wanted to deal with htkaki, same thing happened. Now, after a year, again. Maybe fate wants me to jump straight into HD82. laugh.gif sweat.gif

If not mistaken...htkaki will have this HD20 going off for around RM6000, right? Top up another HD65 price, then HD82 dream will come true le. Maybe I need to make a trip to Aeon Credit liao. laugh.gif

Bishop, his showroom is at Hilltop shop lot, 1st floor, facing the main road. There is only one hi-fi shop there. smile.gif
