er....from what i was told, 3D tech got 2 types
1) utilized different frame rates for both eyes. Used in most if not all 3d flat panel TV. Only got very little movies in the market since most company dont use this tech.
2) use color reproduction or something blah blah. Used in projector. better coz most film company use this tech to produce movies
somemore he say mine already 3D ready, since the cable is ready (1.4). all i need is just a 3D BD disc
All my info above is based on what i was told. so it might be wrong so dont flame me ya

i think so too...coz i google it when he tell me
but then i ask him, mine one old one wo, bought 1 year ++ ago wo. and he say no prob :S
sigh. btw, tested some 3D movies at his place, it's epic fail imo. so won't be bother to get 1 3D disc to try and play
besides, since my PC using ATI cards, can't play 3D movies too even if i download pirated one :S

Thank you Optoma HD20 is selling in the region of RM5.5k. I am using it & all I can say is the picture especially the color reproduction is excellent. The only complaint is the dark color can be darker but then price wise will be different. It is indeed value for money.

QUOTE(htkaki @ Oct 5 2010, 05:48 PM) Fuyoo..... ultra cheap from Taukeh Kenny Skylinestar, time to tk the plunge liao decided not to go projector path as it's quite difficult to achieve "man cave" environment in my living room. already plunged into plasma display. i think it's cheaper, less hassle and good enough for me and my whole family. just pray that it can last longer than 10 years, last longer than the previous old CRT.

You are using LCD or DLP projector? That is dust or hair that stuck in the light path. My old DLP projector had this problem after 1200 hrs usage. Just open up the projector and use the camera lens blower to clear the dust near the mirror and the DLP engine. You can clean up the DLP color wheel too which normally will develop a thin layer of dust but be careful not to break the wheel bearing.

Some LCD projector had a blow hole that you can use blower to "blow" out the dust. DLP kind of tricky cause even it's advertise as sealed path, sometime the gasket could be loosen and cause the dust and hair to go inside the DLP engine.
