I thought last time it was mentioned we can get 3D in HD65 with firmware upgrade?

whats your settings on both this projector and for blu ray player to get the best 720p pic quality....i got confused will all the resolution / hz settings there...

I dunno about others..for me, I set the bd player to output 1080p/24 and let the projector to downscale to 720p.

i think this is probably the best...tried setting the bdp to 1080/60 but i got some weird electric lines on screen...

but i'm a bit confused coz when doing all these hdmi changes in both pj and bdp...the aspect ratio tend to change quite a lot...sometimes it becomes normal wide screen but sometimes bigger... (this is with that aspect ratio setting in pj set to 'auto')

will just try to play with the settings more i guess

our normal HD65 cant play those 3D bluray?

hehe.. cancel my plan to get a plasma tv so use the budget to get a better pj... my bulb not even 20hours hehe

I posted in another thread under W6000. No need to be so secretive. Previously I get special deal from Amazon for USD 2k + SGD 100 for vpost. No tax so that would be the total. Now all online retailer price is back to USD 2.5k. Another option for cheap and good 1080p projector is mitsubishi HC3800 at USD 1250. Not sure if you can get this price in Malaysia. Somehow 1080p projector in Malaysia is overprice.

wow that is certainly great price for your w6000... how come your freight is in sg dollar.. did u send it to sg? i am aiming for something with flexible placement.... something like w6000 affordable yet flexible dlp ... but budget is quite tight, if no choice then would get lcd then.. since i am going to sg soon i might be buying from there if i could save a few thousand there... i have only checked 1 quotation from sg.. pana ae4000 for sg3299.. but can claim gst back.. so nett price would be around sg3100

Cause vpost is based in singapore. Amazon to VPOST USA is free and SG100 is for VPOST USA to Malaysia. If AE4000 you can get close to USD2k then it is a good buy. UK is selling around 2000 pound. Malaysia most likely will follow UK pricing.
