toytoy came to my pad just now to audition the HD65. I guess his GF just got hooked with the big screen effect. Toytoy is equally being poisoned whistling.gif tongue.gif Tested Sharp 46A63M and Tosh 42X3500E. Both full HD LCD TVs. I tested it with his DVD with files in it and also using Dvico TViX on both LCD TVs. Now, I think both of them are impressed by HD pj biggrin.gif We might be seeing a new HD65 kaki in da house laugh.gif

Panasonic AX-200 can eliminate this problem. However, it is a more expensive than HD65.

I think the new TI's LED DLP sys will be employed in higher end models before it makes it to entry level pj.

Yaya nice long holiday, can go vacation hehe. I hope i can get the PJ asap, wanna enjoy during raya. But then raya time my house have some reno work, sigh, can't really enjoy my holiday oso. After they finish i still have to clean up the mess sad.gif

Good news is maybe they'll free the frame for me hehehe. But no screen yet to fix on the frame. sad.gif

I'll juz project it on the wall first to test out the area. My wall is cream color, shud be ok right? A bit bit yellowish. hehe. But all this are juz dream until i get the PJ sad.gif
*

If your wall is evenly flat (always not the case in Malaysia) then it is good for it. Apply those paints used by ycs to get better effect. Since you aee getting the screen, then just temporary beam it on the yellowish wall. I guess it wont looks good for colour.

So far, I have not receive any complaint yet on the bulb 'paucah' (touch wood). All in all, more than 20 units. Only 1 time whereby the bulb burnt open switched on for testing.

Oh yes, do you guys use automated power regulator for your pj?

There is Koss avr (1000VA) for less than RM90.

I am a bit 'kiasi'. I feel that the electricity in our home is never consistent and there are bounds to be spike or surge which will spoil our electrical appliances in the long run.

Synco, power conditioner same as avr

toytoy, please take some photos of your DIY screen when it arrives.

The UPS / Automated Power Regulator is cheap now. Sure can afford as it is abt the price of a BD movie only
