Ling term wise maybank is solid. High net profit and good dividend.

Actually hl bank and pbb perhaps a good time to accumulate some too? Hit their 1 year low

When the rate goes down. The deposit rate also go down. Dont think bank get affected.

On the other hand, people who love savings now find that savings is not good cause lower deposit interest rate, hence decided to take out money and buy shares... buy what type of shares? Typical average joe will buy bank shares...

Anything is possible. Sg banks drop from sgd25 to sgd21 within 2 weeks, thats 20%. Not cheatskate banks, but uob and dbs.

Sgx counters rebound after lunch will it be the same for bursa?

I'm not economist. Why would rate increases will increase the demand for loan?

I bought some in this counter and plan to leave it there for years. Worse to worst, share price drop to RM4, i lose 50% (offset with dividend gain along the way). No need panic selling or cut loss.

Low share price doesn't mean company not profit making, vice versa.

Observed that u kept encourage people to buy when u forecasted the price will get lower. quite confusing/contradicting actually.

Not helping anyone. But do you short sell then since you foresee it to be lower? I think he just prob a statement that he thinks may not go lower unless there is death or things get worse, which is valid in my view (at least he has a basis). And everytime u said the price will go lower, is that based on your personal market trading experience, or observed from SG/US financial markets or?

I do agree that based on market sentiment - not only maybank, that if you anyhow buy a Bursa/SGX counter, it will be a sell trend, it's a matter of dropping by how much / how fast only.

Haha if us shares tonight close ang ang then tomorrow likely can get at 7.50.

If green then perhaps 7.53/7.52 should be good deal for now. Not buying big. Few bucks different.

Paper loss is fine cause u r investing, not trading. You can always average down your investment over the time.
