our insider is small peanut..

the truth most volatile during 1997 is company borrow huge debt cant pay.

then staff retrenchment trigger economic slowdown and loan repayment abilites..news to sell assest to reduce debts.

You need to find credit control those who dealing company bankruptcy debts....see how much they can recoup the LOAN money..else Bank NPL will grow.

that one...require company to jump from cliff.  laugh.gif
Im also one of the victim when lehman bankruptcy. the company hv to retrench me doh.gif

i got 3 lots stuck at 9.2 this month and 2 lots stuck at 9.5 from sept

sold 2 at rm8.9, didnt expect it to drop so bad in this few days, now 8.29 pulak

coming to think of it now, should have jus accumulated the cost by selling all of it at 8.9 buy it again now

but now no more capital edy  doh.gif

Not good to do short term trading for maybank shares. They give out dividends as shares, so it is better to accumulate for the long term

I foresee zero to negative growth in the banking sector next year. Asset quality will fall. That is why funds are now selling.

i doubt so, interest rates remain low for now. And with the low ringgit, it is attractive for stronger currency countries to invest.

I do not think Maybank would be spared as the financial sector will be adversely affected. The prices of other banks have also dropped.

yups, but isn't it for the short term?
