So does this mean in addition to the second interim dividend there will be final dividend for 2018 as well? Sorry I am pretty new to this 😅. Because it needs to have an AGM to declare it as final dividend?

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Dec 1 2020, 01:19 PM) Thanks, just sharing another cheaper MBB alternative similar to MBB for those who have missed the MBB bull Bought using Contra and cash on BIMB, I think the risk to reward is pretty good. Hope it can fly within these 3 days haha, but if not no big dealBIMB is a cheaper alternative laggard because it is not a hot stock |

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Dec 2 2020, 02:38 PM) Good luck bro. No matter how confident I am I will never buy with leveraged money. Very hard to determine price direction in the short term Well, I only leverage with money I am willing to lose |

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Dec 3 2020, 09:58 AM) Didn't get any, yesterday someone placed an order on 3.9 for 5000 lots when market is closing. I think someone got the wind of it earlier. This post has been edited by haha54231: Dec 3 2020, 10:56 AM |

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Dec 3 2020, 11:27 AM) You meant someone knew u going to play contra and bought ahead of you? I bought at 3.9 ytd... No la, I think this guy know that someone is selling off loads of shares at cheap price that's why he placed a limit order. So when the person who sold a bunch of shares cheaply, the broker automatically fulfill his limit order of 5000 lots. Really suspicious amount as other price levels around 100lots order only.Sorry haha I never play with contra before. I dont really get how it works HereToLearn liked this post

Let's say you bought 2,000 shares of company ABC at $5 apiece on Monday, which is known as T+0. That is a paper cost of $10,000. By Thursday - three days after Monday or T+3 - you would have to sell those 2,000 shares. Assume you sold them at $5.30 by T+3. That is a total of $10,600 giving you a profit of $600 before fees and charges. You also do not need to stump up cash of $10,000 to pay for the shares. However, if you sold the 2,000 shares at $4.80, you would have to pay for the losses as your selling price is lower than the purchase price. So your loss before brokerage fees in this case is $400 ($10,000 - $9,600). Hope this is not spam, just trying to share some knowledge on contra trading. The fees is almost the same as cash upfront. Different from margin trading which is like borrowing money on interest This post has been edited by haha54231: Dec 3 2020, 11:48 AM HereToLearn liked this post

QUOTE(moosset @ Dec 3 2020, 01:35 PM) U can just open a contra account, I think there's no requirements. If u have cash upfront just press the contra tab and it will allow you to create a new account. Doesn't require any forms, fyi I am using Rakuten Trade. No 10k requirement whatsoever. |

QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Dec 3 2020, 01:47 PM) Trade and pay brokerage rates that are the same as Cash Upfront Account. RM 9 for 1-10k and 0.1% trading fees above 10k. It's free to use the contra, without additional charges. Very useful if ur cash is in illiquid investments and u want the exposure to higher amount |

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Dec 9 2020, 09:11 AM) Sold BIMB already, volume too small. Hardly any movement, bought some steel stocks instead, got small profit today. No play contra though. HereToLearn liked this post
