If we expecting a recession soon, do we still buy Maybank now?

When recession come, isn't bank the first one to dive?

I am still holding a few banks' share, just a bit afraid to see the sudden spike instead of slow and steady uptrend type, i prefer the later one.

me too afraid to see the sudden spike in Maybank, I know it's good to see today up 7% , rather see slowly up.

Hopefully good news for all holders

This is my first time doing this, what number should I fill in "Number of new Maybank Shares that you elect to subscribe for under
the Reinvestment Option at RM7.680 per Maybank Share" ??

Thanks

Answer is Yes. But I would recommend you to do it online instead. I would subscribe to the whole lot number, ie 100 if I were you. But I plan to see the price of Maybank then subscribe online if still above RM8 on 3rd Jan 2021. Need to register online though....

Thanks. I plan to hold long term. Plan to subscribe 100 old school way with postage mail in smile.gif
