i dont think can point out the exact unit of share to own. i think it's more towards the amount of $ received per annum that makes it worthwhile. for example, getting a MYR60,000/annum from KLSE dividends alone translates to MYR5,000 per month.

for me i split abit abit, some in SGX, some in KLSE... some reits, some dividend yield banks, blue chip etc...
