Is there a selection to reinvest div? I m using M2U to buy.

Compare to US brokerage, US site have reinvested div for you to click. And also will tell you, the stock will pay div or not.

All the div go into the invest acc. Then transfer out when I need it.

Maybank div look like pretty high. What is the average div %?

Maybe can buy more since the price low now.

this might sound like a stupid question here... but I'm just curious, at least how many units of share to own for you guys to consider earning from dividends worthwhile?  or is there a minimum amount at least, anything less might as well invest the money somewhere else?

From what I read about similar concepts in Europe - these banks will have lower OPEX costs and likely to introduce lower charges, which will attract customers from the existing players.

Of course, it will be years before they can gain the trust that the incumbent banks have built. Even then, I'm wondering how well the traditional banks will do when these players start operating.

Has anyone looked into this topic of digital banks and impact to current players?

Yes. You still have to monitor the companies that you invest in. Anything can happen. 

I am actually not retired yet.   

I will maintain some in EPF. You have to realise that when you are not retired and retired, your risk profile is different.
US is not so great for dividends due to the tax to foreigners. 30%
If you are looking at stocks gains, then you should not be near retirement at this stage. 
At retirement, you want stable stocks with some yield. Not something like Tesla! 

i never bought MReits. Sreits are much better.

You go take a look around 5 stars hotels JW Marriott, Banyan Tree, St Regis and Four Seasons occupancy also not even 50% on holiday weekend 🤦‍♀️
Even Weddings now are getting lesser these days as one table will set RM3k easily

300k wedding is already the normality for 5 star hotels 🤦‍♀️

4 seasons Malaysia food is terrible compared to the ones abroad particularly US 🤦‍♀️ rooms are nice though
