Can anyone advise what is the usual price trend after the dividends payment?
I've only received dividends twice from Maybank because just invested not long ago Typically some other companies will have a drop in prices after they pay out the dividends, how about Maybank? It seems not the same case as other companies |

anyone can help explain for but the upcoming dividend payout which is for FY2021, will there will be any impact with the introduction of new tax rate of 33%?
I am confused as to the new tax rate is for FY2021 profit or FY2022 profit since the budget says it is for assessment year 2022? Thanks. |

QUOTE(jianwei90 @ Oct 31 2021, 04:57 PM) AY2022 means profit for financial year ending 31 December 2022 right, not the current financial year? AY22 is for tax purposes following calendar dateFY it depend solely on the companyโs itself as to how FY begins and ends so not necessary FY following calendar date So even FY21 for some company can be ending at 31 March 2022 it will be still taxable for the 1st 3 months |

AY22 is based upon calendar year so it is taxed upon profit derived from 1jan to 31 dec2022 While FY is upon to Maybank to report in quarterly and annual report This post has been edited by xander83: Oct 31 2021, 08:17 PM |
