Easy to say by looking back.
During 2008 Financial Crisis, the last thing investors want to buy is banking stock.
People panic when they heard big banks/financial institutions going bankrupt/bought over/merge/consolidation.

I personally know someone who bought Maybank at the high prior to the financial crisis and sold at a loss of RM1m+
To put into perspective RM1m is a lot of money 10 years ago.

It's easy to say: "Continue holding la, sure make one" but in reality people were damn afraid of losing their money especially when you see big banks suddenly become valueless.

Bought 10 lots Maybank shares at 7.45 after selling ASM2

I have been selling my ASNB units and divesting into local stock market and sg reits. Unfortunately my sg reits currently not doing well due to covid19

And the personal loan rates remains 4%++

Prefer 50..bad for Maybank n banks but good for other things..
